The sisters and fathers have all been courteous and polite to me whenever I'm there to do a pick up. Nice cathedral-styled church attached. I like that they do a lot of activities, like plays and chorus, as well as all the craft fairs and carnivals (which are to raise money, but hey, the kids seem to enjoy them). I think they the teachers rotate from places around the world, so my niece had a teacher from India last year. I think it's great that she's exposed to cultural differences. It's heightened her awareness and I think fostered early tolerance for differences between people.

I honestly wish that I could have gave a zero star rating for this school location. "Freedom…read moreElementary & The District" There has been continuous miscommunication, and an extremely unprofessional attitude when it comes to the principal at this school. (Tracy Cassina) She cares more about getting her "Likes" on the "Blooms" App and pleasing her favorites than she does about properly addressing real concerning matters when it comes to the children. Not to mention the favoritism when it comes to students and parents. The staff at the counter in the district office seem to have more realistic, and accurate information regarding the school than the actual principle does. She is always on a different page, which seems to be a page all of her very own, while she leaves out members of her own staff or chooses to snap at them as witnessed on multiple occasions if they try to have an opinion. It's extremely obvious that she is in way in over her head with the current position she is holding as principal. Her number one priority should always be the children attending the elementary school and their overall well-being on all levels. Yet as a parent when you try to have a conversation with her in regard to a bias situation, or an overall conversation in general she simply tells you straight to your face that she doesn't have time to discuss it, and you have to take it up elsewhere at a later date and time. There have been continuous situations that have arose in such a short period of time, and each one of them have been taken just as serious as the last, which is not serious at all. Considering all of the encounters that have been had with her, and her extremely negative and discouraging attitude, I have learned that the overall approach for the School District is to ignore the parents, leave matters unaddressed, and eventually you will just shut up and go away. Leaving you, and your child/children with whatever scraps of education and respect that they choose to throw your way.
