The funny thing was my server was not too bad, but the bartender seemed to intentionally avoid making my drink. He would stand there doing nothing and when she asked for the drink he suddenly had to put glassware away. It was like he was mad at her. I'd recommend it for a casual lunch or if you're staying across the street and don't care when you get served, otherwise there are several other restaurants in that strip mall that frankly looked and smelled more interesting. Now, I've been trying to find the more authentic/traditional Mexican joints to eat at, but my business partners down here always try to take me to the more "Gringo-esk" eateries...and it drives me nuts! Lately however, I've been doing my own homework (Thanks to yelp - although seemingly underutilized En Mexico still...) and requesting the various joints to try. Restaurante Santa Fe was a nice find. Close by to many other options, this was a nice detour from the regular status quo luncheon for a more authentic trip down a traditional lane. And...it's not far from a Tim Hortons... :)...just saying. :).
