Had the nicest lunch here. Had the greatest conversation with Amanda. She told us about how she makes everything from scratch. The pepper/salt wings were cooked perfectly and the homemade sauces were fantastic. We also enjoyed the hand dipped and onion rings. Cold beer plus she had just make the bread for her sandwiches on the menu....needless to say as bread lovers we asked to buy a loaf!!! My first time here and I had already chosen the sandwich I wanted to try! Which was the local chicken fried steak one! Called the local! Well they were out of it so I had to choose another one! I settled on the dream weaver which was chicken, ham, bacon, avocado,pepper Jack cheese brown mustard with lettuce tomato and onions. With a jalapeño ranch dressing. I asked for the dressing to be on the side as I wasn't sure how it was going to taste and asked them to put mayo on my sandwich. As I do not like brown mustard at all! Well my sandwich came and there was no mayo on the sandwich he wanted to take my plate back to the kitchen but I said no just please bring me some mayo. Then I looked closer at my sandwich and there was no bacon? I informed him when he got back to the table and he left and came back and said the bacon was under the cheese? So I lifted my bun and kinda moved the cheese and showed him there really was no bacon on the sandwich at all! He was like they are bacon pieces which clearly were not present? He they came back with a portion cup with some bacon pieces in it. Let me get to the avocado it was a very thin smear of something green on the top of the bread so thin you could see through it to the bread! No taste of avocado anywhere In The sandwich ! The sandwich was poorly put together as the cheese was only on one half of the sandwich and the chicken was small diced up pieces that kept falling out of the sandwich! One tiny slice of tomato for each side a few pieces of diced red onion hardly any and very little lettuce just a few chopped up pieces down the middle of the bun! Finally you get to the ready big piece of ham which totally overpowered the whole sandwich! I had a bite of my sister's sandwich the slayer and it was really good! As the Texas cheesesteak was as well Loved the Korean loaded fries! We gobbled those up as well! It wasn't that I ordered a complex sandwich that it would have been hard to get the order right! Just no mustard add Mayo and the jalapeño ranch on the side! I was so disappointed in what I received and the hassle of trying to get it fixed I did not enjoy my food! My family has been there many times and have always loved what they had gotten from there! Over all the service was good and the overall visit was good! I would of liked to at least be able to taste the avocado and have cheese on both sides of my sandwich and maybe enough veggies to enjoy with every bite I guess it was too much to wish for! Especially at the cost of that sandwich you can zoom on the picture of the 1/2 I didn't eat! No cheese, no bacon, one tomato and a piece of lettuce and the smear of avocado and you cannot see any of the chicken but it's there! My sandwich is why I gave them the 4 stars instead of 5 I'm glad they were busy and all of the tables filled up pretty quickly and maybe since I had my heart set on a different sandwich this one could of been really good if it was made correctly and I was not questioned that I missed the bacon somehow And then I had to wait to eat until it was settled while my family was eating! It could of been handled better and I'm sorry would of helped too! I will give them another try to see if it was just a off day for them? It happens sometimes! They fries were awesome and the wings they were bringing out looked and smelled awesome so every one says they haothe best wings in town and after having a few walk by our table I can tell you my mouth was watering but we already was full so next time Give them a shot read more

I have been to Lenny's a few times now for lunch and have enjoyed my visits. Neat little spot with a cool vibe, good music, and good food. I am a fan of their chicken wings as they offer a variety of flavors both wet and dry. It's nice to see something other than the plain old 3 versions of Buffalo source most places have. Service is quick and attentive and we have had no issues with any of the staff. Lenny's is definitely in the regular rotation so I am looking forward to trying a few more varieties of their wings! read more

Don't go here. I just visited this establishment and it took over an hour to get our food. I was with three other people and we all paid out separately and when we did the waitress charged us a 20% tip fee for a party of 8. Remind you we were 4 people. We didn't catch the charge until after we all left. Yes she did that 4 times. Once by error is believable but not 4 times. We also never were asked for drink refills. We all had to go to the counter or wave the waitress down and ask. They were not busy either. There were either 3 or 4 tables and the other tables just had 1-2 people. I noticed other reviews on Facebook and Google indicate this place has ongoing service and rudeness issues. None of us will be back. read more

I love a good sub sandwich. So I have literally been hunting for a perfect place. I found this mom and pop style restaurant and I have to say I was blown away. The jalapeño cheese sticks are mouth watering. We sampled the wings which were good and they offered a lot of different flavors. The sandwich I got was the perfect mix of meats, cheeses, and toasted bread. I got a drink from the bar it was a dream come true. Which could be dangerous! It tasted like a dreamcile and was in the prettiest glass. I will be returning asap! read more

Wow! Just.... Wow! First time here and I've heard great things but they just didn't shine the way the real experience did! First of all, I wish I had gotten the beautiful woman's name who was waitressing and running the bar. She was super sweet, attentive, and even ran to hold the door for me in the way out. I got the food to go and when I got home I ate my Mac n cheese first. THE best Mac n cheese I think I've ever had, seriously. I also got the Grilled cheese and added turkey to it. Yesterday, the Mr. and I drove to Weatherford to visit my MIL, SIL, and BIL. BIL suggested Lenny's Local for lunch. Sandwiches are one of my favorite food groups, so I was all in. The menu was extensive, so I had a hard time making up my mind. I ended up getting my SIL's favorite which is the Purple Haze. My MIL and SIL had the same. The Mr. went with my BIL's pick which is the Sunday Shakes. In addition, we got two orders of dry rubbed wings to share, (I don't remember the flavors), curly fries, (SIL & BIL), and jalapeño broccoli slaw for the Mr. and I. Our sandwiches were excellent and BIG. None of the ladies were able to finish them. Who doesn't love having something to take home for later? I tried a couple of the wings and while my preference is a 'wet rub', I did enjoy them. The jalapeño broccoli slaw was the only 'miss' for me. It was tasty and had plenty of heat, but I think it needed some kind of sweet dressing to balance out the flavors. I was so hungry, I forgot to take pics. Not sure what has happened since the last time I have eaten here. 1pm on a Saturday and there was only one person working the register, bar and waiting tables. Tables were dirty and sticky and did not get cleaned after guests were done eating. Food prep was exceptionally slow and the sandwich I ordered had very little meat and not all of the ingredients. Yet again, another hidden gem of Weatherford. If you didn't know it was there, you would surely miss it. Hidden away in a small corner of historic downtown, Lenny's local is changing the sandwich game. The large menu will keep you coming back for more. The classic rock/hair metal theme is fun and refreshing. There are plenty of things to look at while you wait, and they keep a wide range of entertainment on the multiple tv's. I had the Slayer, which was absolutely amazing. I practically had to force myself to finish it because I was SO full but it was SOOOO GOOD! The Mac and cheese was absolutely fantastic! My partner had the Yellow Submarine, which looked amazing, only we had asked for no ham and to sub for extra of the other meats and it came out pretty much all ham. Super disappointing. For this, unfortunately I cannot give a five star review. Sort of ruined my partners dining experience, as he cannot eat ham... the server didn't seem to care much either and said nothing when she saw the giant pile of ham left on the plate. Enter Lenny's Local a sandwich and wing shop with a rock n roll theme and some rockin n rollin goin on back in the kitchen too. These subs are truly amazing with layers of flavor. They do good salads too. The Yellow Submarine is my favorite Italian sandwich and the Yardbird chicken sandwich comes slathered in whatever wing sauce you want. Great people and location. They typically only have one person doing everything from taking orders, making drinks, bringing food out, checking the tables out, busing the tables. And the sandwich is very delicious, be advised that the bread is extremely hard so I recommend getting a sauce to dip it. - Dry wings 10 Nashville hot as an appetizer -- delicious but not spicy. We had a side of ranch also. I would order these again, because the wings were cooked perfectly. - Mac and cheese - lacks flavor even with bacon, would not order again. Ambiance: The restaurant is always crowded when I go there, and there are generally two or less employees working the front, and probably the same number of cooks in the back. With at least 6 T.V's they always have good options.. like a sports game and things for kids. Be patient because everything is going to take quite a while to get to you. Our waitress was sweet ...And was as fast as she could be.
