They were very helpful on the several phone calls I made prior to visiting them while in Santa Fe. There, nobody seemed to know much, a crucial part of the procedure could not be done because of broken equipment, the glasses I requested turned out not to have been ordered at all, and nobody knew why I would have been told otherwise. read more

Ordered 3 pairs of RayBan metas. 1 pair as a regular prescription pair, a pair of prescription sunglasses because I don't like transition's, and 1 pair of transitions for my wife. My regular pair is going on 3 months of not being delivered in good condition. The 1st time I ordered, they admittedly said they broke the frames, the 2nd time they were attempted to be delivered, the left lense was loose. I just attempted to pick up my pair again tonight and the lens was still loose after allegedly being sent back to rayban to get the lenses replaced. I am so mad that it's taking this long for just my regular glasses. Now I have to wait even longer to get my glasses. I ordered them on January 3rd of this year and we are basically halfway through March. And to top it all off, no one from the store even called to let us know they were ready. read more

DO NOT GO HERE! They are extremely unprofessional and act with neither compassion nor competency. They have zero regard over your wellbeing and will actively lie to you repeatedly in order to not do their job properly. I received an eye exam on and have been trying for over a month to obtain my prescription. Every time I call they make up and excuse for why they are unable to send it to me. Today, after the 4th time of trying to obtain it, after spending upwards of 10 hours on the phone with them, I still have not received it. Their customer service and store manager is abysmal at his job and should be fired. I am visually impaired and unable to order the lens I am in dire need of, without this script. read more

Worst Lenscrafters location I have ever dealt with in 20+ years. Had bought a pair of sunglasses in another state and brought them here under the EPP program to change them out as the original pair turned out to be too large and very uncomfortable. Was originally told it would be "a few days". I consequently received a text that my glasses were ready. Drove across town to pick them up and was handed the same pair of glasses I had brought in to exchange. No explanation, no apology. Just told it takes 5-7 days and I would get a call. I then began calling on a daily basis for status. Told glasses were in process and it would take 7-10 days. Then was told they were shipped on 7/31 and would be in in a day or two. Today was told maybe tomorrow and it takes 10-14 days. I'm afraid to call again as I'll probably be told it takes 30 days. I even filed a complaint with Lenscrafters Custoner Care site. They tell you they'll respond within 5 business days but good luck on that, 10 days and not a peep. Cannot recommend this location and getting to the point where I would not recommend Lenscfaters just because their corporate entity no longer seems to care as well. Updated after speaking with manager, Estevan, who had been out for a couple of weeks. He was able to advise that the glasses were coming from China (what kind of a business model is THAT Lenscrafters?) and showed me tracking information. Sad that no one else was willing to do that over the two weeks I was going to the location and calling for information. A simple paid of single vision sunglasses takes THREE weeks because Lenscrafters is getting then from China? That doesn't even make business sense. read more

Disparate reviews likely have to do with whom you work at LC. Did you know that NM, overregulated in so many ways, does not require licensing of opticians? I recently bought new sunglasses with a bifocal. The glasses were great but the bifocal was too high. John Lawhn (licensed) worked on adjusting them and then said they'd remake the lenses. Which they did. I don't know what other eyewear stores would have done but I know LC via John remade the glasses after they had been fit and finished. Pretty fine customer service. read more

The man answering the phone should not be working with the public. I broke my day glasses and called to ask if they could possibly make a pair of glasses. Since I had LASIX surgery years ago at the Eye Associates of NM, I made an appt with them but the soonest they had is in 2 weeks. I need glasses to function.. The man that answered...customer service ? Rude. If he would have given me options, I was willing to have my eyes checked by them in the interim , to have a pair of glasses made by them sooner. I purchased both progressive glasses and progressive sunglasses earlier this year, both "RayBans". Two employees told me that "all RayBans are made in Italy". I made the mistake of taking their word for it. The sunglasses are made in Italy. Excellent quality and fit. The regular glasses are made in China. Cheap knock offs. Just after the 30 day warranty expired, the knock offs broke at the right temple. They are supposed to be carbon fiber. I think they left the "carbon" out at the Chinese factory. I took them back to the store. The manager said the only thing he could do for me was to allow me to purchase another frame. Since, at the time, the lenses were still good he suggested I buy another frame like the broken one so we could just use the same lenses. When I originally purchased the lenses I verified they came with scratch resistant coating. The employee said they did. (They did not). They are so scratched now I can barely see out of them. No matter how many times I get these glasses adjusted they won't hold their shape. Cheap does not begin to describe these glasses! Word of caution; you buy cheap, you get cheap, except at this store they still cost you. The quality of these Chinese frames are terrible. Do not buy!!! Their website states their frames are "designer" and they are "hand made". They need to stop with the b.s. There are not too many brands left that are "hand made". The so-called "RayBans" made in China ARE NOT HAND MADE!!! read more

Our son came from Philadelphia for a visit. He had lost his glasses and needed some ASAP. Lenscrafter's one-hour service stops after 6 PM but the technician stayed and built his glasses well after 6 PM. Good selection. Reasonable prices. read more
