This place is just what San Miguel needed. Their burgers are delicious, their sandwiches are perfect, their fries are hot crisp and well seasoned. Their staff is friendly and fast. The dining area is clean, and big enough to seat a few crowds of people. Their prices are reasonable. They've got a few kinks to work out, like their hours (with one cook, being the owner himself, what more can the man do??). And I don't love the hash browns, but I am a diehard Joe's Places fans, so it's hard to compare. But other than those two things I really do love this place and hope they stay. read more

Leo's Cafe was a place that has a homey feel with good food. The parking is limited so don't bring a big SUV, but please bring your appetite. The portions are more than enough and you will get your money's worth. The service is good for a small restaurant. The servers are very attentive even with fairly large crowds. Our server was was very respectable and considerate. The ambiance was that of a old town country. Once again do not let the outside appearance cool you or deter you. Tried this place with our large family group for breakfast. I understand it is fairly new. Prices were good and the plates were huge. Service was good too. Kept us filled up with lots of coffee and gave us great service, considering we were a 9 person group that wasn't easy. Food was great with large portions and friendly service! The cook ( Steve Gilbertson ) that made us breakfast, was great! The portions were huge, and the price was reasonable.. Presentation was perfect and the food was delicious! I had reasonably high expectations for Leo's and it didn't disappoint. Everything I tried was damn good. Fresh. Well prepared. Kudos to the chefs. When you get hot crispy on the outside dinner rolls and warm, semi melted butter, you are starting off right. My wife's side salad was fresh and crisp. Maybe the best ranch dressing I've ever had. I had chicken caesar salad. Big portion of chicken. Tender. Juicy. Of course I poached some of my wifes BLT. Toasted right and good amount of bacon. Really good bacon. So with this COVID-19 situation going on there isnt places where we want to take our kids to avoid the possibility of exposure, we have been living in San Miguel for almost 1 year and kept driving home everyday from work and seeing this place but never ate there. Since we are at home and we like eating out on Saturdays Me and my wife thought, why not order fpr take out? I got a double Western cheeseburger, my wife got a Turkey Ortega, my daughter got a kids cheeseburger, and we also got bacon cheese fries to share between all of us. Im not one to be annoying and review but it was a little pricey and the food did not match what was sold. All the CHEESEburgers had no cheese what so ever. The ortgea sandwich was just toasted bread with slapped on COLD lunchmeat. The patties on the western had no flavor or seasoning, the fries had no salt and were overcooked or stale, i guess ill find out in a couple of minutes. My 3 year old is a damn french fry vaccuum he doesnt like eating out or fast food but he sure likes his FRIES no matter from where! When he ate about 3 or 4 and then asked for a PB and J it was pretty plain and simple, the food was no good. I appreciate small buisness in our town and any small town for that matter and that's what the 2 stars are for but really confused why it has such great ratings! Maybe Dine-in is a little different who knows but not worth the money in our opinion. All this is just an opinion eat whatever the heck yall want to eat lol. read more

We found this place while traveling through tand getting gas across the street!! What a find!! This neighborhood gem has it all, good food, good folks and good price. The pancakes were fluffy my over medium eggs were perfect (something I rarely find) and bacon crisp!! My husband had the burger and found it to be one of the best! Very clean and well maintained. Every Friday is prime rib and it is always great they give you these rosemary rolls with your salad and they are yummy.
