Roast Beef sandwich with zucchini fries

Great place to eat. Love the country feel and atmosphere. Service was great and we will definitely be back again.

If I had just seen these prices, I may not have stayed. Glad I didnt leave.

I read the reviews. I saw the pictures. And I decided we should drive 23 miles to give this place a try. But when we arrived this Saturday morning, I was unsure of my decision. First impressions: Leo's gave off the appearance of a rather boring, overpriced diner. A newish style building (I generally expect older, divey mom & pop cafes to have the best food), but quite clean and spacious. The interior had a rather sterile, chain restaurant feel. There was the irritating, loud clattering of plates coming from the large, open kitchen. And finally, a lot of menu prices, even breakfast, seemed quite high. I was shocked to see all their omelets and biggest breakfasts were priced at $23 or higher. I prepared myself not to like it and even talked about leaving. Yelp whispered, "Try it anyway, Wendy. Just once." The first plus was the great service. Thank you Maribel. You were perfect, as were the others on your team. Then out came our two breakfasts. OMG, big! The Corned Beef Hash was a big surprise. We knew by looking at it that it was canned, usually a big red flag, but this one tasted far better. I know of only one (!) brand that tastes that good, and you can't buy it in grocery stores. I'll bet that was it. The slab of hash had to be served on its own separate platter, the portion was so big. The scrambled eggs (2) were done nicely, not overcooked. Mr B requested extra crispy hash browns as a side, and they nailed it. Soft in the center, crunchy on the outside, and delicious. The toasted English muffin was generously buttered and had a jagged, crisp texture. I broke down and ordered the Country Fried Steak in spite of its $24 price tag. You have a choice between chicken breast or real steak. I chose the chicken and it was big, nicely seasoned, and moist. The coating was perfectly crispy. It looked hand breaded to me because of its irregular shape, thinner-than-most coating, and nostalgic Southern taste. The final touch was the gravy. It was creamy, nicely seasoned, not at all pasty. I've been looking long and hard for a CFS exactly like this. Highly recommended. Of note, the biscuit (one of my side choices) was not made in house, according to our server, but turned out to be very delicious and tender. And I requested the cream gravy, but on the side. That nice sized, fluffy biscuit came warmed with a side of whipped butter. Very pleased. Dog friendly. They have a small fenced-in patio with large, red umbrellas, a plus, so I can invite my little best friend, Rosey. 23 miles to drive to get here is not bad, but not good. But I'll tell you what! I would do it again, and would especially consider eating here if my husband ends up at the nearby huge Kaiser Hospital complex, which he has, unfortunately, recently done. Nice breakfast!

I really liked this place. It has good food for a fair price. I came with a friend and we got the French toast and farmhouse skillet to split. Both of these dishes were very good. It left us both filled. All the staff are very nice here. They have a some coin machines with toys for kids, or adults with Peter Pan syndrome, like myself. They have plenty of seating inside and out. But depending on the time of day, I could see this place getting packed and there being a wait.

I haven't been here for a while. When we arrived no one was seated and the waitress/hostess greeted us right away. 5 stars for service. The waitress was great and even gave me other options than getting more potatoes with my breakfast burrito. When our food arrived, it was hot, fresh, and cooked perfectly. I would get the burrito again for sure. The restaurant is always a little dim inside but I like that, especially in the morning when you're still waking up. The decor is simple and reminds you of a little diner.

Love this little spot. They always seem to have s special and to me dining here is like having food from home without any of the work. The staff is always kind and super helpful. This is one of our go to spots when I don't want to cook but I don't want fast food

1st timer, definitely coming back. DELICIOUS breakfast, requested hashbrowns extra toasted, yum‼ pancakes were nice and fluffy, sausage cooked perfectly. Customer service was quick and great. We received menus within 2 minutes of arrival, ordered shortly there after. And it took them about 10 mins to get my to-go food. Ordered lumberjack and pancake combo and a Children's pancake combo. Lots of food it was perfect.

Came a long way from Inglewood, CA. & stopped by for some breakfast on this beautiful Thursday morning. Loved the service from the minute we opened those doors to a loving caring lady with a big smile on her face, welcomed us & sat us down took our order. Such a caring lady. I forgot her name but she was an angel! God Bless!!

My husband and I had an early appointment at Kaiser and saw that Leo's was right down the street. When we walked in, we were immediately greeted by friendly staff with smiles. We immediately sat down and noticed how open and clean the dining area was. There are plaques on the wall for various sporting teams the restaurant sponsors too, which is such a sweet thing. My husband ordered a breakfast sandwich and chili cheese fries. Firstly, the burrito was nice and FAT. The other thing to note is how nicely spread out all of the ingredients were in the burrito. Every bite had all of the ingredients in it. The green salsa was delicious too. The chili cheese fries were tasty. My country breakfast was fantastic! The biscuit tasted homemade--fluffy and warm and not dense. The gravy was peppery and I really enjoyed it. The staff were so attentive and friendly. I would definitely come back if I was in the area!

I have been to this restaurant in the past and I don't remember it being this good! My family and I ate here after my niece graduation ceremony and there was a 20 minute wait because they were packed stone 11am. The servers were exceptional! They checked in with us throughout the meal, providing refills and napkins. The place is a nice size with a good view of the outside landscape and large windows. My meal was delicious! I had French toast and country hash with a strawberry lemonade. They gave me huge portions so I had some for later in the day. I can't wait to go back, thank you.

It's like dining at grandmas! We had a large group do a short wait wasn't out of the ordinary for us! Once seated we were greeted with friendly smiles and a whisper of the secret special for the weekend the lumberjack breakfast at only $15 for eggs, potatoes, all 3 meats and 2 pancakes or French toast!! What a deal!! With coffee refills consistently coming by you always had a warm cup! A great spot to stop for breakfast or brunch and have a good start to the day!

Hi. Do you do % of sales back fundraisers for local schoolS? We are a non profit booster club for Kaiser High School Band and Color Guard and are looking for local business to help us fundraise for our current competition season.

Call the restaurant and ask.

Do they make strawberry shortcake?

No they don’t but you can give the message to a waitress to pass to the owner. He is always open to feedback on his restaurant. Very nice guy.

No... just no. Don't fall for this hipster, trendy place…read more My husband took my here for a quick Mother's Day brunch. I honestly saw the prices and saw what people were walking away with... it turned me off. But my husband got a a breakfast burrito and French toast... we got the breakfast burrito and I took a bite. It was good, but definitely not worth the money and the 45 minute wait. Then we waited another 15 minutes... the French toast still hadn't come out. So my husband went to go ask and they said another 20 minutes... okay so one hour for French toast? Then we waited 30 minutes... we needed to leave so we went inside to see where it was at... girl at the counter said another 15 minutes! Like what! So I was mad now at this point. I stood there right in front of the counter making sure they can see me because everyone who ordered French toast after us had gotten theirs, ate theirs, and left already!! So she finally put it in a to go container and just placed it in a bag and threw it on the counter. Didn't even look at us! So you know what! Forget this place. This place is meant to look trendy and take your money! That's it! They have a sign that says "Want better, not more" Yah well we did want better, but we got more bs from another wanna-be brunch spot
