Referrals were not completed and lab test instructions never sent. Following an injury, I had to seek treatment from another medical facility because no one was calling me from Dignity Health to address my issue...their centralized messaging system had never contacted the Grass Valley office. The final annoyance concerned an annual physical that was rescheduled three times. over a period of many months. I was told the doctor was not going to be in the office but when I stopped by on the day of my appointment, not only was he there but I was told I had been "bumped"! Is this anyway to treat a patient? Luckily there is another local medical group which runs smoothly and efficiently - we now are happily their patients but still waiting for all our requested records to be transferred from Dignity Health!

Several days later they denied her acceptance, stating they do not take Covered Ca. Blue Shield PPO. What!? Everyone takes Blue Shield PPO in the Sierra foothills. Why would we be auto-assigned to their office by Blue Shield? It seems they are finding creative ways to avoid new patients. After seeing other reviews, they did us a favor. We now have a PCP we love. As an example, our new PCP got us in for an appointment, re-filled prescriptions and got my wife an x-ray, all within two days. Now, that's how you do it! If you're a new patient, don't waste your time.
