Will visiting Lille my friend who lives just outside Lille suggested we have lunch at Les 3 Brasseurs as it is his favorite place in Lille! I can understand why it's his favorite place. He recommended I try and plate that offered a sampling of traditional northern France dishes. It was a fantastic recommendation. After my main course I tried a sampling of the desserts which came with a fantastic Irish Coffee! One of the best I've had! This restaurant was good... don't get me wrong. It was mostly service that was a bit under par. The restaurant itself is nice... surrounded by old beer barrels and a classic brewery decor it is very inviting. It also has an extensive menu for appetizers and actual meals at reasonable prices. I had classic steamed mussels and fries and we also ordered fish and chips and a salad. All was good and plentiful. Again, decoration is super cool and good bar food... service could be better. But come here and have a few beers and order some mussels to share. It is located right across from the cathedral. Awesome view. read more

When I told people I was going to Lille I kept being told to come here and now I know why. This is surely the number 1 place for beer in Lille. I enjoyed an excellent blonde beer, brewed on site, at a price that was much more reasonable than other places in Lille. You can even take their beer away with you in various sizes at an even cheaper price! The menu is really coolpresented as if it were a newspaper which I thought was a cool touch. They also have without doubt the best hand dryer I have ever come across.it feels like your hands are being massaged while they are being dried. Shame it dries them so quickly. Serves foodbut I didn't indulge. It smelt nice though. And the place looks great too. I really can't find fault. I wish I could have stayed longer! This was a fun pub. We ate here twice on our trip. It was a fun party for the Lille OSC game. The beer was pretty good. The food was nice. They have fully English menus for you non-adventurous types. read more

A gem if you are a fan of beer and ale! I'm not but was happy to partake in their beer flight which was an absolute bargain and allowed me to try 4 of their own beers. They brew in the bar itself which is lovely to watch and the food, although we didn't try it, looked amazing. The staff weren't the most attentive and we waited a fair while to be served when it wasn't particularly busy but the beer was lovely and the menu is varied with some beer cocktails thrown in for good measure. Knew about this place from pub guide to Lille.brews it's own beers. blonde ambree blanche(wheat) and brune at 4.10e and 4.40e for 50cl.try the palette taster of 4 beers one of each for 4.90e.opposite Lille flandres station. Recomended! read more
