They have this very lovely outside area in the middle of the museum and I spent lots of time in the sun surrounded by flowers and people. It's bigger than Fondation Bemberg but also newer. So it's completely different styles. I'd say if you have children, take them here or the national museum. The visit took me about 1 hour and a half.

There are two floors, the top looking more like an actual museum (empty rooms with paintings). There's also a little passage outside that leads you to the second floor but you can enjoy the view before you move on. I don't remember how much it cost me but it was quite cheap for a student, and even if the museum is small it's worth taking an hour or two to appreciate how unique it is.

The cafe near the IMAX theater serves traditional baguette and cheese/ salami/ ham sandwiches in a seating area outfitted with 50's style, spacey seating. Hadn't yet seen the IMAX movie about the repair of the Hubble telescope in English. It's pretty impressive even when you don't understand what they're saying and you're reduced to just looking at the pictures I was ready for a rocket themed pizza house. This could not possibly be further from that!! You could show up early and stay late and you'd never cover the whole place in a day.

Riche de plus d'un millier d'objets, elle témoigne de la vie quotidienne en milieu hospitalier : les instruments chirurgicaux côtoient ceux de la médecine légale. On doit la constitution de ce fond au Docteur André Graulle, ancien médecin anesthésiste des hôpitaux de Toulouse, enrichi de nombreux dons ultérieurs. The downside is that there is still a majority of the elements which are in french but they have put a lot of effort into including the same details in English. So if you have a young family or there is some bad weather I would suggest visiting the Museum Toulouse and if the weather is good there is a great outdoor botanical garden to explore. The price is reasonable and they offer discounts for a majority of travellers (students, teachers...) but the 9 euro entry fee was still reasonable for full priced adult ticket. Please not that the museum is commonly referred to as Museum Toulouse.
