We enjoyed the shade of the umbrellas while people-watching, surrounded by the closely packed crowd. Anyways, we ordered yummy salads, and kept it simple and fresh on our hot summer day. Agh. Such a pretty cafe / bakery in the heart of Nîmes. We had over night stay in Nîmes and didn't want…read moreto eat buffets breakfast at our hotel, so we ended up at Croquants Villaret. It is small inside and only has several tables for two. We walked in here on Sunday morning around 9 and was able to find the table after a few minutes of wait. If we stayed in Nîmes a little longer, I definitely would have came back here for another quick bites or for lunch. The service was friendly and the staff were patient and willing to help us being not able to speak French.
