The hotel is really very beautiful, with elegant décor throughout the building and in the rooms. When we arrived, we had drinks at the bar, which had a very cozy seating area. We also spent a good amount of time at the pool (there were bathrobes offered in the rooms), which was beautiful and a calm place to lounge around in between dips in the water. Our room was beautiful but a bit small and given the high price tag, we found it wasn't really special compared to some other similarly ranked/priced establishments we've stayed at. The staff were all very polite and helpful as expected at such a fancy hotel. Overall we had a nice weekend here.

He was able to arrange a pickup for us at the airport (worth it) and our taxi back to CDG. They responded immediately to all our requests over email and were quite helpful. He also arranged a reservation for us at a local restaurant. The only misstep occurred the night before our departure. We asked for a time change for our taxi pickup which did not happen. The staff said they would call our room to confirm but they never did and the change was not made. The room was small but clean and the bed comfortable. The stand up shower head did not have good pressure. We used the shower head for the tub instead. We were on the first floor and could easily hear our neighbors above as they walked around so you might choose a second floor room for your trip. The guest WiFi did not work at all when we were there. The staff attempted to help us by providing the staff WiFi password but that didn't work as it constantly dropped the connection. In today's world, consistent and reliable WiFi is equivalent to running water. I was quite surprised the WiFi didn't work given the quality of this hotel. The breakfast bar was average to below average. I was surprised at the lack of options and the overall quality of the food offered. It was disappointing. Overall, our experience was quite mixed but overall positive. It is not a place we'd stay again but nothing we regretted for a short stop in between other destinations.

During my visit I was able to explore the surrounding area thanks to the complementary shuttle provided; I also enjoyed the food at the resort restaurants & Christmas market! One of my favorite aspects of my visit was enjoying how well decorated every building / room is designed - not only for the Holidays, but just in general! Whoever designs the atmosphere of this resort does an incredible job. Overall I highly recommend this resort for all travelers near and far who love adventure and fresh air :)

Let me start this review by telling you what was really outstanding at this hotel: the service. In…read morefact, I would like to applaud one particular employee: the woman at the reception desk. Unfortunately, I don't know her name, but she was working at the reception during the day and what really exceeded my expectations was this: we had already checked out, but a few of us had still been in the restaurant area for meetings. When it was the end of her shift and she was about to leave, she popped by and said to us that it was a pleasure having us over these past few days and that we should just get in touch with her, if we ever decided to come back to Paris. Now...this is what I call service and this is why I give this hotel 5 stars! Le Robinet d'Or is a small hotel in the 10th Arrondissement, just a block away from the Canal St. Martin. It is a rather small hotel with only about 15 rooms (if I counted correctly). These rooms are small - I don't expect anything else in Paris - but they are very reasonably priced at 130 Euros per room and per night. Wifi connection is included in the price and it's quite stable and fast. (Although I hate the fact that I have to log in every time.) The hotel restaurant serves a small, but free breakfast in the morning: croissants, cheese, ham, yoghurt, jam, fruit salad, cornflakes, coffee, tea and juices.) The restaurant also serves lunch and dinner to the public and in fact it was really busy during lunch time here.) The food is nothing to rave about, solid French cuisine I would say.

The restaurant has a large variety of salads, appetizers and main entrees to satisfy a wide range of appetites. We stayed in Suite 5, a spacious suite with a full kitchen, modern amenities and comfort in every corner! You will love it! The staff is lovely, attentive and first class all the way!

The rooms were perfectly fine for me. The food was fancy! I enjoyed it. Don't stay here to be close to Paris, stay here to be closer to the Convention Center.
