Silly us, Americans used to paying so much for a glass, we thought the first price (most were about 2-4 euros) was a half glass and the next size (4-7euros) was a full glass. Nope. Full glass and double that respectively. Hello, Paris. They even have "wines of the moment" that are still in the barrel and are tapped. Try one. Food was yummy all around - we tried a quiche, veggie lasagna, chicken w/citrus sauce and something else I can't remember now. Prices are great and there are usually dishes of the week as well. Menus are brought around to you on a small blackboard. They also have a full bar and this seemed to be the place to hangout after hours. It is great for an "After-Work" as they say in French - with good drink specials (notably 6 euro cocktails, 4 euro wine, and pints for the price of the "demi" or half-pint) for their happy hour from opening until 8pm. Plus they use good rum (Cuban) for their mojitos - always a good sign. Try their mojito royale (it replaces the rum with champagne) for something delicious a little different! AND they serve pitchers - which is always nice if you are with a group (unless you are the only one paying for the pitchers...) The place gets packed fast - especially on Thursday. There is a DJ upstairs on most good nights and an upper mezzanine with some tables to get (a little) distance from the noise. Then the basement is wild and has it's own bar and DJ on party nights.
