After all, you are in Antibes and on Garoupe, so you would think the fancy beach club with bottle service and all those people would be the best place for food. But that is incorrect. What this place lacks in refined decor, it makes up for in food tastiness. Believe me, after seeing and tasting their food, you won't care that you are eating on what is essentially patio furniture. I had the Niçoise salad and my wife had the chicken avocado salad. My salad was one of the best I've ever had. The tuna, the freshness of the veggies, the dressing, it was all just amazing. The salad even had anchovies. I generally do not like anchovies but even they were good. My wife's chicken salad was just as good. Perfectly cooked and perfectly dressed. It doesn't look like much but I was very pleasantly surprised by this little beach cafe! My chicken avocado salad was perfect. It's everything I wish salad could always be. Warm, perfectly juicy chicken, fresh flavorful veggies and perfect dressing to tie everything together. There was even a poached egg on top. Hubbies Nicoise salad was also heavenly. He especially raved about the anchovies and he doesn't even like anchovies that much. We got coffee for dessert and both the espressos and cappuccinos were fabulous. It's not a fancy place but there are lovely views of the ocean from each table. We opted for a sit down meal but they also have takeaway items like crepes and sandwiches. The food was always good, sometimes even excellent, and the service was friendly and efficient. Desserts are the highlight here, don't miss the stand-by Chocolate Mousse and Creme Brulee. Each day for two weeks the daily lunch special was something different, and among my favorites was the "Noix de Jambon Marine au Miel et a l'Orange" which would sound not-as-good as it was if I translate it to english.
