Multiple bad experiences here. I would highly suggest going anywhere else. Job hasnt been done right either times I've been in and had to go back in for them to correct it. Today my wife goes in with a flat from a nail that they previously repaired that started leaking again. They told her it can not be fixed and her only solution was to replace all 4 tires for $1500 on a 2025 Nissan Rorgue. She told them it seemed expensive and she can't afford it and are there any other options?. He quickly replied nope I'll go put on your spare. blatant disrespect and trying to take advantage of someone who doesn't know better. read more

I recently visited Les Schwab in Star because I came in with warped brake rotors. If left unfixed, this can result in complete loss of braking power, potentially leading to a serious accident. I told Kevin about the clicking noise and aggressive shaking in my wheel when braking over speeds of 50 mph. Kevin took it for a test drive, checked it out, and then had the nerve to say my brakes and rotors were fine. He even said, verbatim, 'It may be an issue where it has to get worse before it gets better.' My guess is because I was under warranty and they didn't want to work for free. I went to the Eagle location, and they told me exactly what I thought--warped brake rotors. I will never be returning to the Star location! read more

Last week I got a nail in my tire and because I live in Star, I thought I would help support a local business. I arrived and instantly was met at my car door by (I believe his name was Lani). He was a middle aged man dark hair and was very short when speaking to me and proceeded to tell me I couldn't get it fix because it was too close to the side wall (understandable). He then gave me an outrageous quote on a new tire, I was able to save $250 going elsewhere. Fast forward a week later, I avoided a wreak but popped another tire in the process. I drove on a spare tire from Boise State University all the way to Star (18 miles) in rush hour. A spare tire is not equipped to drive more than 50 miles max. I went in and they said they were unable to put the tire on. My boyfriend, asked to speak with the man that was helping me (that same guy from last week, Lani). He then started to argue with my boyfriend and told him "well she drove here so she can drive back to Boise" and threw my phone on the table and walked away from me, not saying a word to me. I refuse to drive any more on that tire especially because I have already driven back from Boise on that tire. I was extremely confused, so I looked at him through the glass trying to get his attention and no one helped me. About 10 minutes later he finally came back, and I asked him how many pounds the lug-nut torque was because I could do it myself at this point. He would not look me in the eye and was snappy with me when I was asking questions and answering very short. Doug checked me out and he was a very nice and I appreciate his customer service immensely. However, Lani the other front desk guy needs to work on his customer service because that was extremely disrespectful. I would not refer anyone to this place if anything, I would tell people to avoid this place. As a current manager at my job, I would be embarrassed if he worked for me. read more

I'm the original owner of a 98 Chevy Monte Carlo with 116,000 original miles. I noticed the brakes making a grinding noise intermittently. 'CB' in Meridian was to fix it and they kept replacing the drums 3 times. After dealing with this since 4/24, I took my car to Colby who looked at the paperwork from 'CB' and suggested machining the drums for $148.99. Well the problem was fixed that day! I'm so very pleased with the results and finally feel safe driving my car. read more

Finding a nail (or multiple) in your tire is never fun! They offered to repair it for free but unfortunately due to location in the tire that wasn't an option. The team is helpful and knowledgeable about the different tire options and were able to get me 4 brand new all weather tires in about an hour. read more

After reading the most recent review I think I will find service elsewhere, I was needing to have a front tire checked out in regards to low tire pressure and a possible error in the Bluetooth sensor. But again after reading that review I don't want incompetent and rude service especially when they try upcharging you. No thanks! read more

Had a flat tire today, and was pretty lucky to have it right next to this Les Schwab tire center. They immediately helped, and found a screw had punctured the tire. I asked them to repair it and they did. I was so surprised when they told me "no charge today - just think of us next time you need tires." You can bet I will. read more

We were traveling in northern Montana and had a blow out on our travel trailer. We had a spare, but were a long way from home and didn't feel comfortable traveling such a distance with no spare. We stopped in Moscow, ID at Les Schwab and bought 4 new tires. We had the grand babies with us so probably weren't as attentive to the tires as we should have been. When we got home, we realized they had put 4 tires that were only rated "C" instead of "D" like is recommended by the trailer manufacturer for the weight of our trailer - "C" rated tires have a max load of 1750 lbs each, while "D" rated tires have a max load of 2100 lbs each. Our trailer weighs 6800 dry, so clearly the lower rated tires weren't going to work. We were only going to be home for a few days before we had to take off for another long haul business trip and we weren't comfortable driving all the way to Cody, WY on the wrong rated tires. We called our local Les Schwab and told them the situation. Even though it wasn't their fault, they ordered the tires we needed and were able to get them in and installed on the morning of the day we were leaving town. Obviously, the higher rated tires were more expensive than the lower rated tires, but they wouldn't let us pay the difference. They said they would work it out with the Moscow location. Peterson Lexus told me I needed to buy new tires. My car only has 20k. I took it to Les, and all I needed was a nail removed. Plus, they checked all my other tires. They were fine. They didn't charge me. Great people and service.! read more
