Rich sauces and huge portions prevail. My quenelle with chicken liver pate was good, though not as good as the one I had across the alley 4 nights ago. Gott'a say though that my 5 course dinner for 23 euros was quite acceptable. Hard working servers are friendly, efficient, and keep a sense of humor about the prevailing pandemonium. Yes you can find more refined Lyonaisse food close by for the same tariff. But if you decide to eat here you will have plenty to chew and probably be quite happy about it.

First the staff were all very friendly and accommodating. We were all super impressed by the gentleman in charge at the restaurant, who possessed a clever sense of humor and was full of wit. We got there very early and the place filled up after we arrived, especially after a large party arrived. I expected at that point that service might drop off, but it didn't.
