(Original visit from May 2017.) I made an appointment with Dr. Miller based on local review and proximity to where I work. From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the bickering among staff members--primarily between the staff and Dr. Miller. Everything from short, irritated, responses, to rolling eyes and escalating voice volume, it was really unprofessional and made a significant first impression upon me. Dr. Miller herself was kind enough but came across as mildly disinterested in the questions I had, noting that she would answer them after she had examined my eyes. (I never got the chance to ask her again and gain any input.) Overall, my experience felt rushed alongside irritated staff members and an exhausted Dr. Miller. I understand that everyone has bad days at the office--or anywhere, for that matter. And I certainly understand being exasperated with co-workers. But to handle oneself like that in front of patients (let alone first-timers) really set a bad precedent. I haven't been back since, though I continued to get text message reminders and emails for a lonnnng time afterward (Gail G., I feel your pain there, sister). I'm not sure what would need to change at their practice, though I see they've merged with Dr. Weaver now. Hopefully that's been an improvement for them. I've chosen Drs. Manning and Rommel in Lancaster for my eye care and couldn't be happier. I encourage you to try Dr. Miller out, but keep other options open as well. read more

I have been a patient in Dr. Miller's office for a couple of years now. I get my eye exams and reading glasses from her. I like this office and the staff a lot and have recommended it to friends and family. Dr. Miller has excellent knowledge in her field and keeps up with the newest technologies and methods. Her staff is friendly, considerate, and professional. I go in from time to time between eye exams to get my reading glasses adjusted, and Gail has always been extremely accommodating about taking care of the fixes on a walk-in basis. All in all, good people in a good office setting, easy to get to, and great with their follow up to patients. read more

We have always found Dr. Miller's front office people to be incompetent. Both my son and I had told them we do not want text messages yet they continued to send us text messages even after we called numerous times and told them to stop sending text messages. They alwlays said it would be taken care of but never was. When I would call to say we received more text messages they would always blame some outside company who does their text messages, We finally left the practice because of it. I canceled my up coming appt. and told them I was leaving the practice. Two weeks later I received a letter from the office saying it was time for my eyes to be re examined! Can they not do anything right? What did they not understand when I canceled my appt. and told them I was leaving the practice? We have since found another eye doctor who is not only as expensive as Dr Miller's practice but my son eyes have finally been corrected and he no longer has eye strain. read more

I had extensive eye surgery with a specialist and had complications. I returned to by regular eye doctor for annual exams and felt he was not paying attention to my situation. I had gone to Dr. Miller in the past but she moved her office from our area. I decided to go to Lancaster to see her as I knew she took her time and considered each problem. She has always given of her time and knowledge and has helped me tremendously with the glasses situation. read more

I have been to many eye doctors over the years and am very happy I found Dr. Leslie Miller. I would surely say she is the best around ! Her care and knowlege are top notch. Both of my parents had glaucoma, so I am at risk for it and was concerned when my former eye doctor gave me fairly high pressure readings using the "poof of air in the eyeball test." He seemed unsure of what to do in my case. I switched to Dr. Miller, who uses up to date technology and was able to actually see that though I am set up for "narrow passage glaucoma", I do not yet have it. She keeps a close eye on this, and I feel confident in her care. She also understood both my husband's and my rather difficult cases for eyeglass prescriptions and we are happier than we've ever been with our glasses. read more
