In early June I went into the store to speak to a "professional" because my pool pump had stopped running. I spoke with the owner, Eileen, who was more than willing to quickly sell me a new pump. Since it was late Saturday afternoon and she said the installer could be there on Monday I was willing to pay the marked up cost of the pump. On Monday two young men - whom I assume are working summer jobs during school break - finally showed up around dinner time with the new pump. Jump forward in the saga but they could not complete the job and had to come back the next day with parts they did not initially have on their truck - again showing up around dinner time. After much trial and error they had it hooked up but could not start the pump yet because the glue on the pipes needed to dry. When I finally was able to start the pump I immediately found a leak and had to turn the pump off. The next day I went back to the store to speak again to Eileen but found out she was on vacation and no supervising adults appeared to be left in charge. I demanded a name of another reliable installer and was given the name and number of the person they usually use. (No offer to contact him on my behalf was made.) I contacted him directly and after a week of pursuing him he finally showed up to correct the issues. However, it was going to require additional parts he did not have. Fast forward another week and he has still not returned. I have been without a working pump for 2 1/2 weeks (although I own and possess a very nice and expensive pool pump.) I have made numerous calls for Eileen but she has never been in the store and has not returned a single message I've left. I will have to locate another pool maintenance company to fix their mess and, of course, incur additional expense I should not have had to pay. Needless to say I will not be doing business with this store (as convenient as it is to my home) again. How do I rate a negative number of stars?

Once that was determined, they were able to obtain and replace parts in one week (today). My only suggestion would be to have some sort of follow-up system in place for situations like this. Thankfully, Elite Pool Designs put all of our fears to rest thanks to their amazing customer service, fair prices and excellent, high quality work. We previously had a koi pond in our backyard but, as the fish died out, realized we wanted something else back there instead. We reached out to Elite Pool and Cyndi and she came over the next day to assess our yard. As we had no idea where to start, she helped guide us through the whole process, connecting us with surveyors, tree removal experts and all of the other hidden things you don't think about when you decide "I want a pool". After the work to get the yard ready was done, we went to the Elite Pool offices to pick out the tile, lining and design of the pool. Cyndi walked us through the shape and features we wanted, and provided a very reasonable quote for everything, including, automation, a heater for the pool (hey it DOES sometime get cold here!) and a screen enclosure. Construction for the pool started in October 2024 and finished in late January 2025, and our hat goes off to Robert (owner of Elite Pool) for his help with managing the entire project. Crews arrived as needed and on time, and though there were some periods between steps where not a lot of work was being done, it was never unreasonable and given the holidays, totally fair. Inspection and electrical were simple and easy and now we are ready to enjoy our pool! For anyone in our same position, looking to install a pool from scratch but not sure where to turn, Elite Pool Design should be your first call, can't recommend them highly enough!

They installed a liner for me a couple of years ago, and their work was great. They charged me as quoted (a couple thousand dollars less than I had paid in the past) and they are upfront about charging a flat hourly rate for anything unexpected the run into. Since then, I've used them for the occasional cleaning and different maintenance issues. They come when they say they will, they do a great job, and there are no unexpected charges. David, the owner, is in his 60s and has been in the pool business since he was 13. He doesn't do the physical work himself, but he does have an excellent team. The only negative - which isn't a big deal to me - is that he isn't great at returning calls. I just call him every day until I get him. He's a delight to talk to and a straight shooter.
