Very disappointed. Buyer beware. Hired Lets Get Green service 2 years ago. Paid in advance. This year I had more weeds in my yards than ever. Informed them about the active weed growth. Evidently, the formulation was changed, I don't know, but my back yard is like scorched earth now. I watered profusely through the drought because I saw my lawn was dying. I have an irrigation system and my water bill was 4x the normal cost. My neighbor's yards were dried out from the drought, but they've bounced back. My yard hasn't!! I asked about a remediation plan, they had multiple excuses why my yard was dying and remediation came at a cost. Let's Get Green without question damaged my yard severely. Guest have even commented on the condition - "I've never seen your yard look like this". Now I stared out my back window in disgust thinking about what I need to do to fix it. I had much better results caring for my yard myself. I'm sorry that I gave Let's Get Green a try. Proceed at your own risk. read more

I have used them for a short time and the got my grass weed free and looking like carpet. I need an irrigation system to stop the grass from burning up I needed weekly mowing . They are more expensive than the national chains but the difference shows. My house was the first built in my neighborhood. I got the crap builder grade seed like everybody else, but within the first year I signed up for their service as well as having them aerate and seed, I had the only real lawn in the neighborhood. I had neighbors stop and ask the Green service guy questions during my treatments, thinking they can just do it themselves. NOPE, their lawns looked like crap and still do 5 years later. My next door neighbor finally broke down and signed up to fix his lawn and used them for a couple of treatments. It made a huge difference until a national chain came knocking, offering lower prices, so he switched. His lawn looks horrible again. The weeds are gone but the grass just isn't as green and thick as mine. So remember, you get what you pay for! Edit Update 5/1/2018 I was outside and I heard my next door neighbor (in pic where I'm sitting on mower) complaining to his Tru-Green guy, pointing to my yard saying that "I don't have one damn weed and his yard is covered in dandelions." Go Green! I talked to him afterwards and he said he took pictures of my lawn to send to their manager. Ha ha. He just refuses to pay a little more and get quality. I finally got my other neighbor to sign up (see other pic that shows color difference). I posted updated pic of what 1 yr service did to his yard. You can tell it's a new picture and not Photoshopped because a new tree was planted. (He said he gave them my name when he signed up but I don't recall getting a service credit for it. :( ) read more

I had ordered the 6 treatments for weed control and a seeding treatment last year. When I initially contacted Let's Get Green to inquire about services I was told that I would be getting the 6 treatments for my yard over the course of that year. I was also told that with their seeding, should there be any missing spots in the yard or if I was unhappy with the quality then they would come back the following year and re-seed it for free. For both services I opted to pay the full year in advance to get a 10% discount. Lets start with the weed treatments - the 6 treatments were completed for that year as they said they would. However, this year I was billed for another treatment they conducted without my knowledge. I have called the company and spoken to the owner to dispute this bill as I did not agree or acknowledge that I wanted to continue services again this year. The owner was extremely disgruntled and rude with me. His reply to my dispute was that the company attempted to contact me through email, which were actually just the statements from the previous year that says that services continue from season to season at the bottom of the statement. They also claimed to have sent me a text the day before coming out to service my lawn that I have no record of. So because they did not hear back from me they assumed I wanted to continue my services and did it anyway. I disagree with this. From a legal standpoint it should in fact be the opposite. If you do not have consent or acknowledgment from your customer than how is that a greenlight to go ahead on to their property and treat their lawn and expect them to pay? I have two young kids and a full time job; if I received any mail from them I was not eagerly opening it as I did not wish to continue services with them. I would never dream of them doing me a service without me giving the okay first. After explaining all this to the owner and claiming that I did not feel that it was right for me to have to pay a bill I did not agree to services for he began to speak extremely unprofessional to me. His whole case was that they tried to contact me to tell me they were coming.... Through the fine print of last years statements and a text I never received. I explained that he should have gotten either a written or verbal agreement or acknowledgment that services would continue and that he should have at least called me via phone since I had not responded. His response to that was "you're just being nit-picky"....when I tried to respond he cut me off to repeat that I was "just being nit-picky".... It was childish and unprofessional and I saw no resolution in conversation. Now for the seeding- There were patches of missing grass in several spots in my yard. So I was very unhappy with the seeding treatment. I was told to wait until June to contact them if I was still unhappy so that they can schedule to come back out in the fall and re-seed again; free of charge. So when I told this to the owner he said that that only applies if I continue services with them. At no point in time was I ever told that there were circumstances to this warranty-type service they promised. When I scheduled this service I was told that it was a worry-free, satisfaction guaranteed type of service that would be redone if I was dissatisfied. To add to that, when they seeded my lawn they drove the aerator over my blacktop driveway that I had just gotten paved and poked holes in it. So now I am stuck with a patchy yard and damaged driveway. My experience with this company was completely dissatisfying. This is not how business is done and I certainly do not appreciate how I was spoken to by the owner. read more

I have been using Green since I moved to Delaware 14 years ago - lots of folks in Autumnwood sub division use them. Cory is our technical - he is friend and does an excellent job. I have not had any problems during my 14 years and I recommend you give them a try if you want to improve your lawn and get to know do nice people read more

Outstanding company that blows the competition away. When we build our house we got the standard builders grade grass seed. Someone recommended Green and 9 years later I still recommend everyone to them. When people come to our house for the first time they always comment on our lawn. You get a local company with a sincere commitment to your lawn. read more
