What is not disclosed is that you have to sign an additional waiver when your inside (aside from the one on arrival). The odd thing is that it is just a notebook and the student employees just ask you did you do all the other courses before attempt the most advanced course. It's pretty loosey goosey, instead of this system a stamp system should be used or a passport system because if they are using this for liability is a signature request under duress (is what I understand from my legal eagle knowledge). Considering the risk, I would say more needs to be done. The whole course are supervised and the summer hired students are trained to radio each other when a new person is going on the course. The two customer limit on platform are loosely reinforced. I did find that some of the platforms were short on the landing for the mini zipline sections. And on the course the student hires warned us it's slippery because it was wet. Perhaps add some slip grips just because you're flying in at high speed into the landing in some cases (especially when you're pretty large). Good things is that if you wanted the zipline experience you get it through the whole course. You can get away with just paying for the whole course. If you're a parent you may want to go in and just have a look how things are run before putting your kids through the track for the peace of mind. The other thing is that you also want to have a telephoto lens on your slr if you're watching from the ground or hookup your child with a go pro for the fun of watching later. Overall difficulty was intermediate. I think to level up try the course without holding on anything. This was my first time doing this. I would have preferred more physical challenges on the course. There are washrooms behind the sign in cabin. Two toilets in the female. But if you want cleaner go back to the resort. So I rated this four star for the following reason. 1. Price point is steep on a single visit, even with coupons. Season pass may be better; 2. The course liability on-site could be better, I just wonder what happened if there was an accident and if the location did enough to protect customers; 3. The course is full of student employees, surely trained well. But considering young kids on the course a few adult staff would make it feel safer. There were times when I know none if the staff we watching me because I was sloppy on the security straps-without realizing until my date warned me (thanks); 4. Washrooms are not clean on the premise of the trekking. Go to horseshoe resort.

Today's Lora Bay Golf Club is a Real Estate venture. NOT a golf experience. Great Gulf Homes has purchased the property and it's quite obvious if you're a golfer that they should stick to building homes and not try to operate what used to be a premium golf course. The golf course began a renovation of the bunkers a few years back and it seems they've completed this. Not a good job at all. Poor edges, they've filled in old ones and made new ones. Basically changing the design AND the feel of the golf course. Needlessly, in my opinion. Some old bunkers have been grassed but then sod laid terribly and when they cut it it has now been burnt from the mowers.. too much sand not enough sand... then in their wisdom they reversed the 9's. Changed what was #10 (now 1) from a par 5 to a 4 and what was 11 (now 2) from a par 4 to a 5. Green speeds were about 9. I have to say finishing on what was 9 just doesn't have the same feel as finishing coming into the clubhouse. There are too many critiques to mention. A sign at the now 8th hole so you can order food in advance of the turn (supposedly for pace of play?) what a waste of time .. ordered a HALF SANDWHICH and 2 bottles of water. When I got there it wasn't ready they had to go get it .. had to wait for a foursome of guys who had t even t'd off yet to order their drinks and then I was charged $23.00. SorryGGH.. after all these years you've lost me as a customer. You have no idea how to run a golf club.. either that or you just don't care ! It's such a shame because this track was once a premier club in the Georgian Bay Collingwood area.. for $220.00 green fee GGH should be absolutely ashamed of themselves. Honestly in its current state I'd hesitate to even pay $100.00 .. save your $ play Cranberry Village, Monterra or drive the extra to Cobble Beach Golf Links

Small restaurant has fast food on one side and ice cream on the next. Decent prices still considering there's nothing around by foot. Washrooms are clean but need a facelift. The bad: PARKING! Locals have a parking pass to avoid stress and get better spots. The town seems to not encourage outsiders with their hefty downtown Toronto parking prices. There's no street parking now and signs everywhere, so you're forced to pay at the meter and scan your license plate and QR code or the meter maid will be looking for you.

The facilities were clean and well-kept, the staff we interacted with minimally were helpful and friendly, and the bowling was super fun even though I wasn't good at it ...haha. The screens above you also told you how fast you were launching the ball down the lane, that was pretty neat. There was a pretty decent-sized arcade as well, with air hockey and some other huge arcade games with lights that I wasn't familiar with. I think if I lived in Collingwood, this would be a fun place to visit on weekends to get my bowl-on. The only thing missing was 10-pin bowling, but I would surely come back to try and improve my 5-pin game!
