So if you wanna visit the A380 factory before it shuts down, come here. But to see things it's not a real up close tour. It's more of watching some videos and then getting to see the factory floor from an observation deck. And typically nothing is happening on that floor either. First if you are going by Train, when you get off it is at least a 40 mins walk to the Centre. Apart from one lady at reception all the staff are unfriendly. You get to see a video at the start followed by a quick tour of the grounds to look at planes that you will see at any airport with the highlight being the inside of a hanger to see a parked Airplane. If your hoping to see airplane manufacture etc.. you will not. If you have been to Boeing in Washington State which if very good, you will be very disapointed here. Stay away and just look at Youtube Video and visit an Airport. read more

Okay. I though it was quite good value at about 31 Euros for two of us and easy to book online. Remember if you are from outside the European Union I think you may need a passport to present at the reception rather than just a driving Licence. I booked online from an internet cafe. One can select from English and French speaking tours. Quite expensive to get to in a taxi from downtown Toulouse. We went back on the tram when we knew what we were doing. I thought they could have provided some benches outside the centre as we were early on the first Airbus A380 tour of the day. Quite a good souvenir shop and I was pleased to see some memorabilia of the Air France Concorde on sale as I flew on it in 1989. First we watched a video of the inaugural flight of the A380 Superjumbo with the instrument readings as it took off. Then we saw the production line of three A380 planes being assembled in the hangar. I can understand why one cannot actually walk on the production line and you see it from a glass encased viewpoint above. Then to a mock-up of an A380 interior. Quite interesting although perhaps it didn't tell me a lot that I couldn't have read in the papers and I much preferred the experience of the Aviodrome in Lelystad Holland and even Duxford in the UK as an aviation museum experience. read more
