I couldn't have been more wrong. My tax documents were submitted on May 18th. Originally, I worked with Carter, who promised completed taxes by early July. However, my June 1st request for an appointment was completely ignored. He never answered calls, emails, or messages. The only way to get an update was to physically go into the office 2 or 3 times--where he repeatedly assured me I was "at the top of the list" and promised completion "next week." After being strung along until early August, I sent a message stating I was moving on to a new accountant. Lyndsay then stepped in, expressed empathy for my frustration, and promised to wrap up my return by August 5th. Unfortunately, the cycle repeated. The final straw was a firm commitment to deliver the completed return by the end of the day today, which passed without a single word, phone call, or update. I have wasted over three months with this firm. I would rather start completely from scratch with someone new than listen to one more empty promise.

I was so happy to get away from my previous CPA (2021), who sent me an insulting email when I asked a question. He allowed financial decisions that put me in financial harms way to occur and he failed to advise me of the risk. He conspired with my husband to defraud me of my assets and wealth from approximately 1998 until our divorce in 2008. He prepared my tax returns knowing that I was not the benefactor of my wealth and income, and I am still suffering the consequences of his negligent and unethical behavior as my CPA.
