Went here on a whim to get a tattoo covered. I consulted with Jim and saw his work so I felt pretty comfortable having him do my tattoo. I booked the appointment for the same day. Boy am I glad I went there. He did an AMAZING job. At first, I just liked it. Now, I love the tattoo. He made it look so nice and I can barely see the tattoo that was covered. DO. NOT. GO. HERE. If I could give 0 stars, genuinely I would. I don't normally leave bad reviews on places, but when it comes to something that will permanently be on your skin forever, I don't want anybody to endure what I had to. For starters, I made my appointment with Rob, the supposed "owner," but more on that later. I asked Rob to draw something similar to the reference picture that I included on this review, and he said it should take 2 weeks or so which is understandable. The day before my appointment was scheduled I called to make sure he would be all set with the same time and date, and he said he emailed me to confirm the time which he did not. Not a huge deal, moving on. At the time I got there, it was only half drawn up and he said the rest would be freehanded. That made me sort of nervous, as that's never been done to me but the place had good reviews and I've seen some of the art that's come out of the place so maybe it's on me, but I thought sure, he'll finish it and we'll be able to make changes to the sketch. It took him an hour to even finish the sketch, mind you he charges $150/hour. In total, i spent $450. Maybe not a bad price for the size of the tattoo, however, the art that is permanently on my body (shown in the pictures) IS NOT. I stopped him after he started tattooing the head and told him the line work was worrying me and he said "it'll look better later, I'm just 'committing the sketch to your body'" and told me he was going to go over the sketch quickly and then clean it up afterward. I felt a little uncomfortable with hearing that, but I thought "okay that makes a little sense." In hindsight, even if that is a strategy some tattoo artists do, I personally will never let anybody else do that to me again. While he was tattooing me, the needle never stayed consistent. Meaning, sometimes he would dig the entire needle into my arm and other times I couldn't even feel it. He also would go very fast with it, to the point that it felt like he was ripping my skin open. When I explained my discomfort and worry to him he again said "well I've been tattooing for over 16 years and I own this shop." I don't know if that's true, but please do not waste your money on this place. I have never experienced this type of pain and overall discomfort and anxiety anywhere else. Typically, like I said, I'm never the person to leave bad reviews because I'm an overall very understanding person but when it comes to something that is going to be permanently on my body, I would rather feel comfortable through the entire process and I would want that for anybody else getting any piece as well. I don't know if it matters, but this was also my first big piece. I would give a 0 star review if I could, and most of the time I would give the benefit of the doubt but this is not 16 years of skill, whether this was "his forte" or not. read more

Rob did my 2nd lobes & my friends nostril piercing and he was amazing. Very friendly and chill. Helpful with answering any questions we had and extremely accommodating. I went to the cancer drive the first time I went here and everything was aweosme. Talk about a great group of guys and gals workin' there. I couldn't make it in to give them the design I wanted for the drive and they let me email it to them. I sat down and had the first half of my arm done by Jake and his line work was phenominal. Unlike any I have ever seen. The whole time he was talking to me and learning what I wanted done with the rest of the piece, and told me to come back whenever and we can get the rest of it done. I love this place!! I went it asking about a tattoo and had it done right then and there my first time going to them. I went back and showed Jake what I wanted next. He gave me a time frame and a price range. Let me tell you, Jake is amazing!! He was stop on in the time frame and price. Not only that he used a trace of the basic outline, he then added shading by free hand along with all the other details inside the tattoo. All I have to say is that I found my tattoo home! Not only did he do an amazing job with my tattoo he was very personable. He talked to me about ransoms topics and connected it to his life as well as mine. So, this was my first tattoo ever, I've never been a scary Cat so it really wasn't anything out of this world for me, I really liked everyone's positive attitude & I like the certainly the man had for his work. He seem confident and sure of what he was doing, so I didn't have an issue just walking in to his parlor. My sisters and I got matching tattoos, a heart with an infinite sign in between. Colored inside with Yellow, blue & red. All needles were changed on a constant basis during the process & since it was an open space parlor the girls and I had each other's company at all times. Overall the parlor was clean, organized, good music & friendly staff. The guys there seem to be working together for a long period of time, so my sisters and I were comfortable at all times. Our artist name was Rob, he did a quick & an overall good job. Very gentle hands is definitely what I was looking for and I found. i went to level 7 about a year ago and i came in with an idea of what i wanted this was my first tattoo so i was new to the whole thing rob told me he would draw me something and when i saw it i wasn't pleased he ended up talking me into doing it by telling me it would look different when he puts it on me and shades it in and i believed him cuz i didnt know any better... worse decision i could have made my tattoo doesn't make any sense how its set up and the shading it looks like crap and i tried having someone else fix it but there's only so much u can do with the outline please do ur research before going to anyone cuz there's a lot of goons out there that think they are good and will make u believe the same and u end up with some sh*t work on u for the rest of ur life... also keep in mind someone that doesn't have a lot of pics in their gallery usually means they havn't done that much good work... if i could give him a "-" star i would im stuck with this for the rest of my life read more
