Worsed tattoo ever by level 7 tattoo. This was done by jake. Then rob fucked me for 200 on art he never even drew up after two months.

Worse tattoo of my life. After I other it re worked on by the owner after Jake fucked me arm. The owner wanted me to" shade out the brown camo which would make it not camo, then he never drew me art to get done. So when he t0uched up the worsed tattoo I have ever gotten or seen in my life. I have messed up camo a butterfly that looks retarded and lost out on 200 for a work I never receieved

DO. NOT. GO. HERE. If I could give 0 stars, genuinely I would. I don't normally leave bad reviews on places, but when it comes to something that will permanently be on your skin forever, I don't want anybody to endure what I had to. For starters, I made my appointment with Rob, the supposed "owner," but more on that later. I asked Rob to draw something similar to the reference picture that I included on this review, and he said it should take 2 weeks or so which is understandable. The day before my appointment was scheduled I called to make sure he would be all set with the same time and date, and he said he emailed me to confirm the time which he did not. Not a huge deal, moving on. At the time I got there, it was only half drawn up and he said the rest would be freehanded. That made me sort of nervous, as that's never been done to me but the place had good reviews and I've seen some of the art that's come out of the place so maybe it's on me, but I thought sure, he'll finish it and we'll be able to make changes to the sketch. It took him an hour to even finish the sketch, mind you he charges $150/hour. In total, i spent $450. Maybe not a bad price for the size of the tattoo, however, the art that is permanently on my body (shown in the pictures) IS NOT. I stopped him after he started tattooing the head and told him the line work was worrying me and he said "it'll look better later, I'm just 'committing the sketch to your body'" and told me he was going to go over the sketch quickly and then clean it up afterward. I felt a little uncomfortable with hearing that, but I thought "okay that makes a little sense." In hindsight, even if that is a strategy some tattoo artists do, I personally will never let anybody else do that to me again. While he was tattooing me, the needle never stayed consistent. Meaning, sometimes he would dig the entire needle into my arm and other times I couldn't even feel it. He also would go very fast with it, to the point that it felt like he was ripping my skin open. When I explained my discomfort and worry to him he again said "well I've been tattooing for over 16 years and I own this shop." I don't know if that's true, but please do not waste your money on this place. I have never experienced this type of pain and overall discomfort and anxiety anywhere else. Typically, like I said, I'm never the person to leave bad reviews because I'm an overall very understanding person but when it comes to something that is going to be permanently on my body, I would rather feel comfortable through the entire process and I would want that for anybody else getting any piece as well. I don't know if it matters, but this was also my first big piece. I would give a 0 star review if I could, and most of the time I would give the benefit of the doubt but this is not 16 years of skill, whether this was "his forte" or not.

I got this yesterday and let me tell you I love it!! Jake did this and he is so amazing!! I'm so happy with how it came out and looks

I love this place!! I went it asking about a tattoo and had it done right then and there my first time going to them. I went back and showed Jake what I wanted next. He gave me a time frame and a price range. Let me tell you, Jake is amazing!! He was stop on in the time frame and price. Not only that he used a trace of the basic outline, he then added shading by free hand along with all the other details inside the tattoo. All I have to say is that I found my tattoo home! Not only did he do an amazing job with my tattoo he was very personable. He talked to me about ransoms topics and connected it to his life as well as mine. He is by far the best tattoo Artist I have ever been to. And I will refer everyone here because of the amazing work that he does and how he connects to you on such a personal level. Thank you Jake for your hard work!! You my friend are amazing!!

Words can simply not describe Jon's work and amazing artistry. He's so enthusiastic about his work…read moreand is an awesome artist to just chat through your sessions with. We are planning an entire Harry Potter sleeve and I can't wait for the rest! The shop itself is clean and very relaxed! Cool t-shirts up front for sale, and awesome artwork on the walls. Every artist I've come into contact in the shop are extremely nice relatable people. I would give it more stars if I could . Jon schedule is booked but he is soooo worth the wait, BE PATIENT !

This is hands down the best quality, most hygienic, customer-friendly tattoo shop that I have found…read morein Rhode Island (unlike other places, which seem to have only 1 or 2 of those qualities). I have been tattooed here several times by two different artists, and each time I have had a great experience. The shop itself is very big, so there is plenty of space and you don't feel like you are crammed into a tiny room with other customers. There's also a private room where you can have your tattoo done if you don't want everyone to see. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly and don't make you feel silly for asking lots of questions! I've had a large half sleeve done by Rick. It was a Japanese style dragon that was done in multiple sessions. I had an idea of what I wanted for the design, and I gave him free rein to do what he wanted with the color and placement. He is meticulous with stenciling and placing every element of the tattoo so that nothing is crooked or awkwardly placed. I have quite a bit of other work done on that arm in a different style, so I was worried about whether the dragon would flow with the rest of my tattoos, but he was able to make the design fit seamlessly with the other tattoos. It's been almost a year since I finished that tattoo and everything healed perfectly. The colors are still vibrant. I also have a tattoo by the artist Ron on my ankle. I picked the design from his book. Ron is also friendly and knowledgable, and had some ideas for making the colors on the tattoo pop and still be visible on my skin tone. The tattoo was one in one session and the lines are crisp and smooth. I highly recommend this shop. The pricing is really reasonable for the quality of tattoo that you get, and it's a comfortable and friendly environment.

I will never go back to this shop, or ever recommend it to anyone…read more I had a tattoo done by Brian a few years ago that came out well, but it was a simple line which wrapped around my calf, so nothing complicated at all. I went back a few months ago to get a finger tattoo. I emailed them the design I wanted, and that seemed to go over well. When he finally shut the fuck up and started actually tattooing (seriously the guy never stops talking), he was really heavy handed, and kept going over the same places again and again, which obviously was really painful. The tattoo scarred a lot, and it's extremely blown out now. Surprisingly, it came out better than my next two visits. I went back to get a quote on a full set of glyph finger tattoos. The guy, Don, told me it would be shop minimum, and that he could do it on the spot, but he had another appointment in 30 minutes (this really made me nervous knowing that he'd have to rush). I only wanted an estimate because I still wanted to make a legitimate design on the computer that would match what I had in my head.. I didn't want him to freehand it. He insisted that there was no point to having a design on such a small area. I took his advice regardless of the fact that I had used a stencil with the other finger tattoo. He barely laid the needle on my skin. After it took about two weeks to heal, I called Don and told him how angry and disappointed I was. He had me come in later that day to have it touched up. I was optimistic, but I really only went back because it would be free. It took another two weeks for the "touch up" to heal, and it looks only slightly better. The lines are completely uneven, different thicknesses, and just plain sloppy. If these tattoos weren't on my fingers, I wouldn't care to have them touched up again. But they seriously look like a five year old drew on me with a pen. Regardless, I won't go back there for a second touch up.
