[Dishonest & Unethical practices] I went to shop at Lexus on the Park and sat down in a meeting. Everything went well initially, then when it comes to signing the bill of sale, the sales person added in "anti rust protection and anti theft protection" WITHOUT my consent. That increased over $1200 to my bill, I wasn't made aware of these protections and he tried to "slip it in" thinking I wouldn't read the contract. When I confronted at these charges, he bluntly told me these are mandatory "dealership" fee and cannot be removed. That is a complete lie and I cannot believe how dishonest they are, this is an optional charge and they just lie outright in my face. Do not trust the sales team and make sure you read EACH line in your contract before signing anything. Very unprofessional and unethical practices. read more

I had an appointment and I was given zero attention. He wanted me out of there because he was in the middle of a sale with another customer. I left. Buying a car is a big purchase and I deserve some undivided attention from the sales person to answer my questions. I called to talk to the manager and he never called me back. Great service! Employees were so nice, welcoming and cooperative. I would definitely recommend buying a Lexus.

The staff at this dealership pretend to be nice and would say "any question or problem let us know" until you sign the papers. You would receive their business cards as you go along with your purchase. But once there is a problem they don't know you and no matter who and how many times you call no one will call back to take care of the problem. I recommend that you dont buy your car from this dealership and find an alternative. I left my for service with full tank gas and they returned it half tank with ruining interior detailing. God knows who was driving my car. Stay away from this dealership. read more

The sales team is great. The service dept. is a different story. I don't think they check their phone messages. They do not call you back and it takes forever for them to e-mail you with a reply. If you complain to the management then they will follow up but by then you are off to other Lexus dealership. It is difficult to get an appointment for service and virtually impossible to get hold of someone for a quoting parts. Go to Mr Lube on Spadina & Eglinton, they are faster and have better service. read more

If you are thinking of a Lexus, don't and please read my previous review for the "Lexus Downtown". This is an update and a continuation to 3.5 years of hell dealing with Lexus. The bottom line, they don't care and their only goal is to suck as much money out of your pocket as possible. My car is coming up to the end of the lease, pretty much looks brand new, only 48,000 kilometers on the car. Despite my efforts to do everything right, they want to soak me for more money. I purchased an insurance they offered me at the time of signing the lease for $900 which was suppose to be protection so when my lease is up I drop the car off and no questions asked. It is my understanding that normal wear and tear should be acceptable and the protection I bought would cover anything a bit more. My car has a small rub mark where someone slightly touched my car when they were parking and apparently the emblem has been touch as well. I never noticed this before. Bottom line they want $1000 for this. and $1200 for new tires. When I leased the car a lady on her cell phone side swiped me only slightly, just enough to lightly scratch 3 panels down the side of my car. I brought it to Lexus, had them fix it through their body shop, through my insurance and had them inspect it at the time to make sure it was satisfactory. Now today, they are saying the paint quality used wasn't good enough and the car is devalued. Their recommended body shop, they approved it and now it is not good enough. I asked them what about the insurance I bought to protect me from such items and they said because I am turning the car in early, the $900 insurance I bought from Lexus is void. Can you believe that! But their is good news. They will waive some of this (not all) if I take a new car from them at a much higher price monthly fee! WOW, nice of them eh? Did I forget to mention that the entire time I drove this car for 3.5 years it average 300 kilometers per tank of gas not the 500 promised! That's another story. I am looking for others with Nightmare stories to pursue resolution in court. I recorded a 90 minute conversation with me sitting in their showroom having these discussions with them. I suspect they will be having a Yelp event soon, seems that's what sinking ships do. read more
