Booking in for the session was easy too. My wife was also getting her first tattoo during the all day session with a stunning design that Sonya produced. Luckily for us Sonya had a Sunday free, might have been due to it being fathers day, but we booked without hesitation as we didn't want to lose the slot. We arrived for our full day session and were immediately made to feel welcome and we discussed the process in full then off we went putting Sonyas incredible artwork onto my arm. The time flew by and once finished was absolutely gob smacked at the level of detail in one session. Once I was done it was time for my wife's first tattoo and again what a fab job. Once finished the cleaning and wrap in saniderm was a fantastic start to the healing process, plus the detailed aftercare instructions have been easy to follow and have produced a set of tattoos that look absolutely amazing. So much so I'm just deciding what will be my next tattoo. The whole day was a great experience and we cannot recommend Reds highly enough, a great set of tattoos from an amazing artist. All alongside a beautiful studio and great chat with both Sonya and her husband (who incidentally is a really professional piercing specialist) so if it is a wonderful tattoo or piercing do not hesitate get yourself booked in with Reds.

If you live in Chelmsford youve properly heard of Mettle Nettle as she is the best body piercer in town! I went tonight without an appointment. I was extremely nervous going into the shop, as I hate needles and I've only had my ears pierced once before, but as soon as I met Roni (who has the most interesting collection of facial tattoos and piercings, and his eyeballs are tattooed black! whew!) I instantly felt better. Roni made the whole process quick and (practically) painless. My wait time was around 20 minutes tops, and it cost £25 for my nose piercing. The atmosphere of the shop was busy busy busy, with loud upbeat music playing and a tattoo machine buzz in the background. After waiting, Roni took me to the back and was calm the whole time, asking me about myself and talking about life in London. It definitely helped relax me, and for that I'm grateful. He was very patient and gave me time to decide exactly where I wanted the stud to be. Everything was clean and sterile. I was done within 10 minutes - Roni really knows his stuff (I think he said he's been in the business for a decade or so?). I would definitely come back here for any other piercings/tattoos.

It is very much a boys studio with comics and mexican wrestling masks on the walls and MF Doom playing gently in the background. The main tattoo artist Marcus is not the chattiest guy in the world but I'm completely in love with both tattoos he's done. The shop is refreshingly unpretentious and you'll find all sorts of locals rolling through here, with them also having a body piercing service. Though they may lack the heavyweight reputation, the quality this tucked away studio puts out is more than deserving. I wholeheartedly recommend.
