We were explicitly told that we were fully covered, continued to make our payments on time, and trusted their guidance. That trust was completely misplaced. We later discovered that we were not actually insured, despite being told otherwise. Because of their misinformation and lack of transparency, my family went on a cross-country trip with zero insurance coverage, completely unaware of the risk we were exposed to. This is not a small mistake -- this put my entire family and others on the road in serious danger. The agents we dealt with showed zero credibility and a shocking lack of knowledge about the coverage they were responsible for explaining. Whether this was negligence or incompetence, the result is the same: we were misled while paying for something we did not receive. Insurance is about trust and protection, and this company failed us on both fronts. I would strongly caution anyone considering State Farm, and especially working with Trey or Jordan, to double-check everything in writing.
