Other were lined up with us. We asak a manager looking guy if someone could help us and he said we were in line for that. We told him about the gal just visiting with the guy and he said that they do that there, visit with people. I said fine then we will just leave and he said your welcome to do so. He was rude didn't care what we were trying to say and there was an elderly lady behind us that said it was her 2nd time there to just stand in line. We will never go there again.

I worked closely and from a distance with Office Staff, Kim. The office was absolutely fantastic and friendly and up until a month ago I would have given them a 5 star rating in every possible area. Not today. I cancelled my homeowners policy due to the high cost and I simply could no longer afford it. I gave plenty of notice so that my yearly policy would not be renewed. I paid for one year in full on 9/09/2024. I cancelled the policy to be ended on 09/02/2025, because I thought that was when the new insurance payment was due. Kim advised me that it was taken care of. Once again I was extremely pleased with the help she gave me and I trusted that it was taken care of correctly. On October 28, 2025 I received a text message from a collection company telling me that they are collecting for Farmers Insurance. I call and say I have no outstanding balance from Farmers Insurance and they say I do and it was due on 09/09/2025. Of course this was quite a surprise to me and I communicated that day with Kim who tells me she can't help me because the collection had been sent in. I asked why I was never told of a balance and why I had a balance due when I cancelled the policy even BEFORE the year that I paid for in full came due. No answer then she said she did look it up and I did have a balance of 17.05. Imagine my disappointment in the fact that this fee was there (unexplainable by the office staff) and that it had been sent to collection before I even knew about it (again unexplainable by staff) and now I am being hounded by a collection company. Kim's explanation, "I'm sorry this happened." Sorry is great but not good enough. This situation shouldn't happen to anyone! I trusted them. Being told their is nothin they could do and they can't explain why there was any fee when my whole year was paid for is not acceptable. I realize that $17 is not a ton of money, but I had already paid for my full policy and had I been told by their office that there would be a fee, I would have paid it then and would not have a collection agency after me. Very nice on the showing front but behind the scenes, my opinion of the Roger Olcott Farmers office is completely deflated. I used to refer them to everyone and now I will not recommend their services. They are dishonest and and untrustworthy.
