Despite the staff communicating they were short handed due to two staff members graduating college the day we shopped and a bunch of shoppers like us, looking for a suit, due to prom and wedding season, the staff was super helpful, provided the assistance we needed, didn't oversell, and without asking, were right within this first time suit purchaser's price point. Other customers were patient which may be because it was evident the staff were very focused on getting the measurements, fit, schedule and availability all synced. I was thrilled and with a teenager that is never thrilled with spending time with Mom or shopping Kiddo said they were surprised by the great experience and would never have thought of going there but definitely will recommend to friends. If you need a suit, reasonably priced or designer, this is the place to go. Kiddo mentioned also being pleased how staff offered advice on suit trends and how to remain classic yet stylish. We didn't have time for onsite alterations so I will be hemming the pants for prom in a week but policy is, and staff offered for us to come back for free alterations!! (Depends upon price point but our suit which was less than $200 includes unlimited alterations!) Fantastic customer service and purchase. P.S. I just stopped in for the first time today and was a bit nervous and not too knowledgeable about suits (especially for my wedding) so it was very daunting. I was introduced to an amazing and very experienced, knowledgeable and professional worker named Dustin! He helped guide us and taught me a lot about suits, styles, and was very knowledgeable about what is common/traditional and what the "proper" things were and that really helped give us an idea of what to look for or do but was always supporting any ideas we had and encouraged that doing non-traditional things were more than ok! Absolutely brilliant person and am very thankful and happy with my experience here while also getting a decently priced suit. They may have a limited selection of suits in store for one size but the potential to order things in a whole array of colors is absolutely possible. When I was a child my parents would drag my brothers and I to Libin's every year for their annual sale so my Dad could get new suits for work. The only part of new suit day my siblings and I enjoyed was seeing the bird. It was a long few hours spent watching my Dad try on suit after suit and watching my Mom and the gentlemen at Libin's fit said suits around button down shirts and new ties. It was exhausting. Little did I know that 30 years later I would be back at Libin's with my husband for Libin's annual sale so he can be fitted for a new suit. The only thing that has changed is that sadly the bird is no longer alive. Libin's is an original clothing store. They fit clothing professionally and tailor it to fit the way it should. Mr. MVP has had three suits from Libin's in the past few years (he only wears them sporadically for work) and each one was purchased with the help of a knowledgeable employee who knew the appropriate color and fit for his needs. We were guided from our pick of a more expensive suit brand to a more affordable and just as lovely all wool suit that looks just as nice and saved us money. Libin's also has a full line of men's trousers, shoes, coats and casual wear. They can order most anything in all sizes and they stand behind what they sell. A clothing store that my grandparents shopped at, my parents shopped at and now I shop at is obviously doing something right. read more

Not the fit and attention to detail that was expected. I sent my son to Libins to get his tux rented and assumed he would be able to do that with out me. Generally Libins attention to detail is quite good. Upon receipt of his tux it was ill fitted and did not look right. Libins was not cooperative nor helpful in fixing the problem or finding an alternative solution. read more

This store always saves me at Christmas time when buying gifts for the men in my life. I can find exactly what I am looking for an 83 year old to a 30 year old. The customer service is top notch. I stopped by yesterday and was greeted and asked what I was looking for and he directed to me the spot and let me shop without any interruptions. I didn't see the parrot today. My son was getting married on Saturday September 25th. He had rented a suit from a company in Portage Michigan back in May. The day before his wedding his suit had never shown up. This company did not even bother to call or email to let him know. No explanation whatsoever. We were desperate. He had nothing to wear to his wedding on Saturday. The wedding was out of town and he had to leave by 1:00 PM to make it to his rehearsal dinner. He drove to Libins around 11:00 AM on Friday and explained the situation. They went above and beyond to help him out. He showed them a picture of his groomsmen and the color they had chosen. They searched and got the closest color they could find. They found him a matching shirt and shoes and altered the suit right then and there. They did this all within an hour! You do not get customer service like this anywhere! Ordering my husband's suit was great. We had a very helpful salesman. However when picking it up I was disappointed in the condescending attitude of a different salesman because I wanted my husband to try it on before we left. Too bad one person can spoil your experience but we won't be getting the rest of the wedding clothing from Libbins. read more
