They did not sell what we wanted, but the shopkeeper and her boyfriend was very very very nice and spoke excellent English. They told us useful information not only on the bicycle but also on Heidelberg and which really helped a lot to us foreigners. Yesterday I dropped by and said thank you to them. Very happy I also found a delicate purse for my mother. Hopefully by wearing this dual-used bag, she would not forget and lost it again when buying at the market. If you want buy second hand leather bags, this store is a good choice with quiet reasonable price. They have excellent pens, paper, pencils, notebooks, notecards, candies, etc. that we can't easily (or at all) get. The sales associate who helped me spoke English, which was a big help. Of the economical grocery shopping options in Heidelberg, this is the one with the largest…read moreselection. It is packed with all sorts of different items and for me is more reminiscent of what I'm used to in a grocery store (from the USA). Some of the other lower cost grocery stores have rotating items so you might not find some things in stock but you will probably find most everything you are looking for here. Do make sure to weight and print out a UPC code for your fruits and vegetables before going to the cash register (which I actually have not done at any other grocery store in Heidelberg yet).
