I'm so glad I found this store in Heidelberg because I was able to get him a replacement pair for cheap, and I didn't have to go to a pricey department store. This is a two-level store with all sorts of good stuff. I really loved looking at the makeup section, lots of European brands for a few dollars. I picked up some face cream and lip balm to use during my travels as well. This store was well stocked for the season, and the racks were full of warm winter jackets, scarves, and hats, which makes this a great and affordable stop if you are traveling and have forgotten something (socks, shirts, pajamas, toiletries, etc.). They did not sell what we wanted, but the shopkeeper and her boyfriend was very very very nice and spoke excellent English. They told us useful information not only on the bicycle but also on Heidelberg and which really helped a lot to us foreigners. Yesterday I dropped by and said thank you to them. Very happy I also found a delicate purse for my mother. Hopefully by wearing this dual-used bag, she would not forget and lost it again when buying at the market. If you want buy second hand leather bags, this store is a good choice with quiet reasonable price. Wide selection of hair care (had a surprisingly hard time finding a hair brush elsewhere, but Müller had plenty!), cosmetics, cleaning products, travel sized toiletries and soaps and that sort of thing. Of the economical grocery shopping options in Heidelberg, this is the one with the largest…read moreselection. It is packed with all sorts of different items and for me is more reminiscent of what I'm used to in a grocery store (from the USA). Some of the other lower cost grocery stores have rotating items so you might not find some things in stock but you will probably find most everything you are looking for here. Do make sure to weight and print out a UPC code for your fruits and vegetables before going to the cash register (which I actually have not done at any other grocery store in Heidelberg yet).
