They had a decent selection, considering it's kinda like a Macy's or something like that in the US. The cool thing is that when I was there (end of January) they were having the mandated sales in all the stores including Printemps. I got some nice stuff for 50% off!!!! It wasn't outrageous in the first place, but that sales point made the journey worthwhile!

Shopping, shopping and shopping…read more Located across from the main train station, they have so many shops here for most everyone. Most shops sell reasonably priced items. I wasn't looking but not sure if they have high end stuff here but I guess that's what Paris is for. If I wasn't here on business, I think I would have enjoyed shopping here and possibly purchased a suitcase to take stuff home. I didn't buy anything (no rooms in my small carryon), but walked around to compare pricing with similar quality items in the US.

I had a very disappointing experience at Monoprix. The website advertised that they close at 8pm,…read morebut when I arrived at 7:40 the security guard pushed me out. I was mad and confused, but not only was he unapologetic, he actually told me I should have done my groceries earlier in the day and not waited until the last minute. I asked to speak to the manager, but his arrogant response was even worse. Coming from Canada, I am not used to being treated so poorly as a customer. I feel this was unacceptable.
