Prices for other items were also more reasonable than what's available where I'm from; Candy, baked good, and even some specialty foods are way less expensive than at home. The problem is, how do you lug it all home?!

So curiously we followed the crowd and they all had congregated in the bakery and deli area. The prices are VERY affordable as compared to the tourist trap stores. A lot of the locals shop here and this market is always busy! So if you want a cup of coffee with a Custard tart, or coffee with a nice buttered bun, combined, it cost us 2.09 euros! There is a small sitting area to eat your stuff, but the unsaid expectation was to "eat and run" since a steady stream of people were also taking this opportunity for a great deal!
