I hired them to develop blueprints for remodeling a commercial building. The early process went well, they took drone photos and we met for a on site visitation. The contract was written for payment upon completing the job, they sent me the first bill after the meeting, against their own contract. I paid the bill and waited for the first round of proofs. I got fed up waiting to hear from them so decided to call them after four months. They first told me, they've been busy and haven't had time for my project, then they told me they got new owners and undergoing changes, then it was personnel on vacation, then it was personnel not able to work because they were sick. I asked if I could see what they had done after 6 1/2 months and all the issues they've been through. A week later I got a brief email that consisted of a document with the building dimensions on it and two suggested materials for the exterior. I worked with them for three more months, never got an email back or a return phone call. Until finally someone from accounting called me asking for more money. I told them I would not be paying anymore until the project was completed as per the contract. Two weeks after that I got another call from accounting at which point I forfeited the contract after a year of process with no results. I spoke with their project manager who was shocked to hear my story and said the owner would like to speak with me. He never called. All and all I paid them 60% of the total amount owed and could've done the same amount of work using free online software in 15 minutes. read more
