Beautiful Mass filled with lots of good kids and families. The priest's homily was enriching and…read morethought provoking. I was a little disappointed (9:30a Mass) to see that there were no boys on the altar serving the Mass. Kudos for the girls serving but the boys in the parish need to step up too as we are all praying for more vocations to the priesthood. Also it was odd to me that those servers on the altar did not kneel with the people during the holiest part of the Mass. Needed formation?? All in all, it was a welcoming parish with a lot of ministries and activities available for the people.

This year I ordered the Vegetarian Combo, The Combo Dinner and 4 desserts. Most of the food went home to share with the family. I sat under the tent, to have my meal and listen to music...it was a beautiful spring day. The Combo was Chicken Souvlaki, Pastichio, Moussaka, rice and a small Greek salad. I ate the chicken Souvlaki and it was moist and beautifully seasoned. The Greek salad was fresh with lettuce, tomato, cucumber,feta and kalmata olives. I also tried the eggplant dip, stuffed grape leaves, large beans in tomato sauce and pita bread. Everything tasted freshly homemade and perfectly seasoned. I got baklava, rice pudding and 2 other delicious flaky, creamy pastries.

Gotta love Greek fest…read more A terrific tradition continues on. It's great to be outdoors, enjoy some terrific food, listen to some music and be around a bunch of friendly people. There is a nice variety of Greek tradition to choose from. I went with the Gyro and as expected it was fantastic. A ton of meat, tomatoes, "secret sauce" on a nice pita. Delish! Wouldn't feel right without indulging in Greek delight dessert. Go for the baklava, outstanding.
