They promote the idea-which isn't compatible with Christianity, that a man can become a woman and vice-versa. When I criticized this, and criticized this church for promoting such, the lead Pastor, Tim Wilbur, looked me up and found I had a felony from 20 years ago, and told me he was going to call my employer and tell them about it, in an effort to cost me my job, because "he had the leverage to do it" and "knows every business owner in town". He was successful. I lost my job and now face both back surgery and heart surgery that I can't afford because my health insurance was taken away. The heart surgery is particularly necessary as I have a rare, 1-in-5000 heart rhythm disorder and need a device in my chest for it. Having lost my ability to get the surgery, I am literally now at heightened risk of suddenly dropping dead if I have an arrhythmia. So the lesson I learned is-"talk back" (as bitchop wilbur put it) to him and I might have to die.

Just moved to Wenatchee where I followed friends to this church…read more I've seen many churches but was surprisingly impressed with Eastmont Baptist. The people are informal and warm and friendly. I initially thought this was just folks promoting their church, but no, they really are legitimately welcoming and cool. Their pastor follows the Bible straight down the line. When he talks about the scriptures they come alive. He speaks with a passion and authority that we've been missing these past few years in our congregations. I moved in from Los Angeles and could never find something like this in California. You never know.

The worship last Sunday gave me goosebumps and I truly felt the presence of God was there. This is a praying church. If you need prayer, come and let someone, who genuinely cares, pray for you.
