The atmosphere is fantastic, the pastors are real, humble and often self deprecating and the messages are from the heart, biblical based and Christ centered. The music is wonderful. Great singers especially the pastor's wife who is amazingly talented and uses her gift to inspire and invite the Holy Spirit. I no longer attend the church I used to although for a while I was attending both in an effort to make the decision. I love that there are 4 services and that there is also a YouTube option. The services are all very well attended. The church is clean and the grounds are lovely. That said, sermons often feel more academic than pastoral to me, almost like sitting in a college lecture. This is a huge church and still growing--they're currently expanding the building. Because of the size, it can be hard to feel connected. Finding a small group isn't very straightforward unless you go through the membership class, so it takes some effort to find your people. I've had better luck meeting others through Sunday classes and midweek Bible studies. The kids' and youth ministries are a strength. The children's building is bright, clean, and well organized/run, and programs like VBS are excellent. Youth and college ministries also seem active and well led. There are lots of friendly people here, but with multiple services and such a large congregation, it's easy to miss seeing the same faces week to week. The biggest downside for me has been the worship music. The band is skilled + lots of instruments, but the music style feels dated and very same-sounding from song to song. The music stays in the same tempo and emotional lane, which makes it hard to stay engaged especially if you're hoping for worship that is more energetic, contemporary or inspiring. Overall, the theology is solid and clearly rooted in scripture. The church does many things well. It just may not be the best fit if you're looking for a smaller, more connected feel or a more modern worship style. Also, it may simply be working through some growing pains as it continues to expand.

The gossip and judgement was too much for me. After I left, I spoke with an Associate Pastor that tried to help, but the bad behavior in the group that I tried for two years was louder than the words of a leader.
