I called Strobepro and they basically said not their issue and contact UPS. I contacted UPS who said the shipper did not pay duties, fees or taxes, so I will be responsible for the fees. I was charged on my order $126.51 for oversize package delivery. This company is disingenuous when it fails to advise U.S. customers the consumer will be paying the additional duty, fees and taxes. Their equipment is is good and have used it for several years. I will have to look for other suppliers and no longer recommend this company, at least not for US based customers.

One problem for me has been when a company offers free shipping as "Vistek" does, but excluded NWT, Yukon, and Iqaluit, even though Yukon is closer to their Edmonton and Calgary stores than Winnipeg that would get free shipping. And I have spoke with them about it, but their shipping policy is written in stone. So when pre-ordering an expensive Canon R5 MKii camera, battery, and accessories, I did not want to pay extra shipping charges. Contacting The Camera Store they assured me free shipping was indeed included, so I placed my order. I got excellent service, staff interaction (Liz was prompt to answer questions, and update me on my pre-order progress), and shipping was fast. Thank you Kerri. I made a few purchases since, and still even though not that expensive, the service was excellent. This will be my starting store for camera shopping until they do not carry what I am looking for. The style and work was incredible, but the prices were outrageous... More than that however I did not personally connect with any of his pieces. I knew that I wanted this style artwork and I also wanted a piece that represented San Diego to me. While searching google for hours, I stumbled upon Alex's ebay page. I found an incredible piece taken on the shores of San Diego that really spoke to me. While the price was reasonable compared to PL's, it was still expensive relatively speaking and since the gallery is in Canada and I'm in the US, it made me very nervous to make this transaction. I looked to yelp and saw very few reviews, so I reached out to Alex directly. He was VERY responsive and sent me mock ups of how the piece would look on the wall. I also gave him measurements of the space and he customized the dimensions of the piece. I felt much more comfortable at that point and decided to order. Much to my surprise, the piece made it to Illinois 4 days after ordering! It came in a custom crate and was packed impeccably. I could not be more pleased! This piece is the centerpiece of our home.

I was always curious about this second floor shop, simply because the graphics are so interesting…read more I thought perhaps it was a hardware store; imagine my surprise to find a graphic design studio. The girl working there left her desk as soon as I entered and asked if I needed help. She explained to me that since they had extra space in their office that they would highlight some interesting design ideas. She showed me a company that recycled tarp materials into shoulder bags, soccer balls and portfolios. These were quite colourful and had recycled tire piping and seatbelts for shoulder straps. There were this mason clamp on jars with solar powered cells in them so that you can capture the sun and use the jar as mood lighting. Or how about a snap together camera, akin to model planes you used to build as a child, except this is a camera. Cool huh!! Or the Spork; one end is a spoon the other end is a fork. Another company used a nostalgic element of using the cassette tape with an usb stick hidden within. So one would think they were getting a mixed tape but instead getting an usb stick filled with thousands of songs. Great ideas and great design check out their website for other alternative design products. Remember Christmas is coming and you don't want to just give that box of socks set again. Check out SHED!

Not the case. They tried to sell me a 1. Used This phone came unsealed the box had already been opened and was missing the key to open the SIM card slot and consistently reverted to Spanish. 2. Defective as stated kept reverting to Spanish and after 12 hours was still trying to transfer Data from my old iPhone. Their rep, taking no responsibility, said it was due to my old iPhone. This process took 47min with the new phone I purchased at the Apple store. 3. Discontinued model. I was informed by Apple, the manufacturers they had discontinued making the model for well over a year. Their Wireless rep said that information not correct. Thanks but I'll take Apples word on this not yours. I expect higher quality reputable vendors if they are associated with Costco. Unfortunately Costco doesn't seem be concerned about their reputation by association. If you want a new iPhone go directly through Apple and contact your carrier of choice on your own.
