We arrived at 5:30 and we were told that it would be about an hour to wait, but were seated in about 25 minutes. Our waitress Sarah was the cutest, sweetest little thing. She was happy to answer all our questions and checked on us regularly to make sure we had everything we needed. We started with the Crawfish bread and it was AMAZING!!!! It was my favorite part of the whole night. Think of a bread that is perfectly soft, but also has a perfect light crunch on the outside and then cut it in half and top it with a yummy creamy cheesy crawfish dip and pop it in the oven. It was sooooo good! For the main course we tried their special of the day; Blackened Redfish Thibodaux. It is a blackened redfish topped with crispy fried onions and crawfish etouffee served over popcorn rice. My husband devoured the whole thing. He said it had an amazing flavor. We also ordered the 3 piece blackened catfish with fries and hush puppies. The fish had a perfect Cajun seasoning flavor along with the butter it was cooked in and is served with lemon to squeeze on top. It was really tasty as well. Don't skip out on the fries though, because they are just as good as everything else. We loved them too! We ended the night with their homemade pecan praline bread pudding and ice cream. While we did enjoy this dish, it's not the best one we have ever had. The sauce is a little thicker like gravy and we would have preferred more of a true caramel sauce. All in all we both agreed that it was worth the drive from the Memphis area and we will definitely be back!! Give them a try if you are ever near Hernando.

We waited awhile for a table, but we didn't mind as we had nothing else to do. The place is on the small side, but we didn't feel cramped. From the minute we walked in, everyone was friendly and the place feels welcoming. The food... to die for!!! The stuffed crawfish bread... delicious! Crab stuffed grouper... oh my, so good! Bacon wrapped beef tenderloin... yes, please! And to top it all off, the infamous bread pudding... do NOT pass it up!!! I cannot wait to go back.

The menu is the perfect size -- not overwhelming -- and everything is priced fairly for the quality you're getting. You can truly tell the food is made fresh. I started with two sides: the crawfish étouffée balls and the Zydeco shrimp. The étouffée balls were made in-house and packed with amazing flavor. The flash-fried shrimp had the perfect amount of crispiness and paired perfectly with that delicious Zydeco sauce they were coated in. After almost getting full from the appetizers alone, I still had to try the catfish Po'Boy -- and wow, that French bread was some of the freshest I've had! The catfish was seasoned perfectly, and the whole sandwich paired great with their homestyle fries. I highly recommend stopping by 2 Crazy Fellas. The food, freshness, and flavors speak for themselves. I already know I'll be back many more times!

A prime location for a prime steakhouse. The service was strong as was the pacing. I found the server a bit too eager to explain the restaurant and the menu. I'm a ribeye eater so I had a pretty good idea I was getting a ribeye before I went in. I think the talking is used as a way to upsell and push guests towards opaquely priced off-menu "specials" which from my understanding are always on offer (such as their deviled eggs and bone marrow sauce). We started with the beef tartare and duck ravioli. I preferred the tartare, which had a nice spicy seasoning throughout. The duck ravioli had an excellent sauce on it, too. For our mains, I got the prime boneless ribeye ($68) and my brother got the prime strip ($56). We also shared the Yume A5 Wagyu experience ($225), letting us try three different cuts of Wagyu side by side. For sides (about $15/each), we did the fontina potatoes, truffle honey tots, and carrots. We also added the gulf prawns ($21), foie gras ($14), and bone marrow sauce (~$20) which was prepared table side and was plenty to share. It was very rich and peppery, though a bit of a salt bomb. For dessert, we shared the French toast bread pudding with maple butter ($14) which is one of my favorite bread puddings I've tried. They also brought my brother a dessert since it was his birthday, it was something like a raspberry mousse with coconut foam and a sharp raspberry sauce. Excellent. The Yume experience was a big motivation in coming here, as getting to try cuts of A5 Wagyu next to cuts of regular (albeit prime) beef is unique in the Memphis area and really for hours around. It was priced as an experience rather than a food item. It did not disappoint, nor did the prime steaks. The A5 is so unbelievably tender by comparison. My favorite was the ribeye, but I'm biased. My brother, normally a strip guy, agreed with me there. The potato sides were underwhelming, particularly for the price. I don't know how I let my brother talk me into buying him $15 tater tots for his birthday. I could get the carrots again, though. My total was $800 for the two of us for the above food, six cocktails, and tax and tip. A big chunk of that was the Yume experience as well as the drinks (we were celebrating!). If we were to go back, it would be closer to $350 for the two of us, and I would go for the prime ribeye with foie gras again, no need for Wagyu or sauce. I enjoy the sister restaurants in this restaurant group (Coastal Fish, Flight, Southern Social) and frankly I'd bet Porch is the cash cow of the group due to the relatively poor value proposition. We had a great experience exploring the finest steak and accompaniments one could wish for. But, for my money, Coastal does a pretty good steak too.

The church was all secure on a Saturday afternoon so I was unable to do inside today. The marker reads, "St. Peter's was founded in 1840, the first Roman Catholic parish in West Tennessee and given to the Dominican Order in 1846. The present church was built 1852~1855 around a smaller church which was then dismantled and carried out the doors. Within 30 years St. Peter's had initiated the founding of three downtown parishes, St. Agnes Academy, St. Peter Orphanage and Christian Brothers Univ. During three Yellow Fever plagues of the 1870's, 8 priests & 11 sisters of the parish died while succoring the spiritual & temporal needs of the city. Early pastors T.L Grace, and J.S. Alemany later became archbishops. A revived St. Peter's was totally restored and added its Fr. Leo Arnoult Parish Center, 1985~91." It is a beautiful building and well worth a visit for anyone who appreciates classic architecture. There is metered parking nearby and the church has a lot they offer for free during services. This is a sweet little church, with a friendly but not overly friendly congregation. Priest-in-charge Mother Dorothy Wells is welcoming and authentic, with strong hugs, big smiles, and a slow, serious tone during prayer and blessings. For a congregation of this size, the organ and organist are so impressive- the church has instrumental services for Easter (more brass, less rock-band), and a choir to be reckoned with, in traditional Anglican cotton cottas. For kids, there is a nursery available for little'uns under 2, and a children's chapel, where children leave the service and do a brief lesson in a classroom just during the adult sermon. I love the idea of no Sunday school, because this way church only lasts 80-90 minutes total. We are just visiting the church in its new location, and it has been such a warm welcome.
