Wow! Kate came to see my horse Honey. There had been a lot of changes at the ranch where she is boarded and for several months I was unable to ride her. Honey was having some physical problems too and so was I. Although I knew she was coming out of her medical issues, there were things that still seemed a bit off. I had gotten a stellar recommendation from a good friend and got in touch with Kate. I believe in animal communication and I believe in the power of Reiki. I know Reiki can help "unplug" some things physically because I have had it done personally. Kate spent hours with her! I learned things about Honey I never would have guessed. When it was over, Kate gave me her synopsis. One things she said was: "I don't know what this means, but she misses her red dress." I was ~ASTOUNDED!~ I said "I'll show you." I brought out a sparkly red tutu I bought for Honey a couple years before. I put it on her in front of Kate and it was a beautiful thing. If a horse could smile, she would have. Kate also mentioned that her lunch was bothering her teeth a little so we're soaking her pellets and oats longer. Honey also said she needed a blanket at night as she gets cold. Is all of this scientifically provable? No, but either is being in love. I'm going to upload a picture of my big girl with her tutu on and also with Kate. Had an insanely cool experience with Kate! I didn't know what to expect, and as we started I was still smiley and excited but feeling relaxed and energy flowing right away! I won't lie. I was terrified when I went into my first session with Kate. I didn't know what to expect or how it would help, but boy did it start a path of healing and self realization I didn't even know I needed. I just wanted to take a moment and share with anyone who reads this post- working with Kate has opened a doorway to a new reality for me. It was a game changer. I just had my 2nd session with her this past week and cannot even begin to articulate the changes that are happening; it's like waking up from a very long sleep and realizing you've been out for sometime. My intentions were to end the year on a positive note and embrace the New Year with a different perspective on life. I must say, my spirit is light and without disclosing too much, I was carrying a ton of useless, emotional weight that needed to be released- old wounds (yes, we all have them and its still very much alive within us) I needed to let go. I was a little nervous heading into my first session as I didn't know what to expect. Kate was warm and welcoming. Her Reiki room is relaxing, and peaceful. We sat together to talk at first and she picked up on many things that were going on in my life. She relates well to what you are going through and if you are open, she tells you all she is sensing and feeling. After a few minutes I felt very comfortable and excited to see what would happen. Next I laid on my back on the massage like table and she put crystals on my chakras and a blankie to keep me warm. The moment she started the Reiki, I felt my arms and hands kind of tingly. I didn't know until after that was the energy of the healing going through my body. Next it hit my legs as it was going out and my energy clogs were clearing. She then moved to my head and I felt the same tingles and a little ringing in my ears, last was my heart and I felt a warmness. When she had went through the chakras then I felt myself light and almost outside of my body and a bit dizzy. She and talked and then I was no longer dizzy and grounded. The experience was like no other I have ever had. I couldn't wait to go back and continue our work. Since then I have had one more appointment and have another one scheduled. In our last session she connected me with my diseased father and he was speaking through her. You are probably saying no way, and I too would have thought that until she started saying things that I had not told her and things that my dad would have said. It was emotional and comforting at the same time. In the same session she did a meditation that I went into very anxious and by the end the energy surged through my body and cleared out the anxiety. I know this issue I'm facing will be hard, but I also know I will come out of it okay. She said we all have lessons and it's how long we take to go through the lessons.
