Both my sons attended LCS primarily for middle school. The teachers are fabulous and really care about your individual child. There are ample enrichments to balance out the day. The PE Coach is fabulous and their after school sports are just enough. It's a small school by design, but very mighty in curriculum! The Music and Drama departments really stand out and separate this from other neighborhood schools. It's a well rounded option for children with a loving environment. (THEY KEEP DELETING MY REVIEW) DO NOT SEND YOU KID HERE!! this school gave my child trauma due to the bullying by staff and children. My child would be bullied by specifically the principal and vice principal, there was favoritism and racism. They treated brown and black children like they were a problem. They didn't even an official school nurse the vice principal was a nurse, and they have no medical training whatsoever. The school lunch prices are very unfair and if your child did not bring any type of lunch, they would let them sit there and starve for the day. The academics are very behind and did not prepare my child for high school or any type of other school. They gave unfair detentions, and THEY DONT EVEN LET PARENTS SEE CAMERA FOOTAGE, that's suspicious... I do not recommend this school the bullying, the racism, the untrained staff, the unorganized staff and much more. Please consider other schools. They would be better than this one. read more

That's my first negative review for any business.But this school is something else.My son will go to the first grade next year and now he is in kindergarten and he went to assessment to this school to go there next year to first grade and the principal talked to me super rudely saying he is not ready for the first grade because he can't read fluently books and can't multiply till 10 all the numbers.Really?He is not suppose to do all that in kindergarten.They told he can just be accepted in kindergarten again because of that.And they even refused me to see their kindergarten classroom saying you had a tour before.Such a bad experience.I never saw so rude people in school before. read more

Hello, I am writing this review as a concerned parent. My student has gone to this school and i advise any parent to not send their children to the school. First my child would come home in tears duo to bullying my child. Again my child as well come back from school informing me that the teachers would verbally abuse their students. At any terms as a parent this is completely inappropriate and unacceptable behavior. I have also heard some teachers say inappropriate comments to students. I would not recommend enrolling your children into this school. read more

We unenrolled our 2-year-old from the PK-2 program after just three weeks, and unfortunately we cannot recommend this preschool. At first, everything seemed wonderful -- very polished and organized -- but our actual experience turned out to be disappointing. Early on, our child got one "yellow" ticket for behavior. We asked about it through the BrightWheel app and were told no conference was needed, so we trusted that it wasn't a big deal. We also checked in at pickup for the next few days, and the teacher would smile and say our child had a good day -- so naturally we thought everything was fine. A week later, we suddenly got a call to come pick our child up because of "unruly" behavior disrupting the classroom. We got there within 15 minutes, and a staff member we had never met before immediately handed us our child's nap-time things with a smile -- which made it feel like we weren't welcome back. This was in the middle of the week, so our child would've needed those belongings the next two days. When we met with the director and teacher, no plan was offered, no strategies were discussed, and we left feeling like unenrolling was our only option. During this meeting, his teacher looked at us and said he was a "gift from God." Then, without skipping a beat, she listed every possible negative thing about him. The contrast was heartbreaking and left us feeling defeated. I work in education and spoke with other teachers and therapists -- everyone agreed that a plan and parent collaboration should be the first step, not making a family feel pushed out. I was teary through the whole meeting, and only after we said we would unenroll did they suggest "trying again." To make it worse, my child's teacher walked away in the middle of the conversation without even saying goodbye or good luck. Since leaving, we've enrolled our child in another preschool where he is thriving and happy. What became clear is that this school prioritizes efficiency and appearances over genuine connection and communication. Interactions felt transactional. Pick up and drop off are like a Chick-Fil-A drive-thru. Daily updates were limited to a few photos on an app, with no real insight into how our child was actually doing. The staff and parent community also felt cliquey. Religious messaging and church events were emphasized more than individualized communication about our child's needs. Overall, while this school may look "perfect" on the surface, our experience was that it lacked the warmth, transparency, and support for families whose children don't fit into a rigid mold. read more
