But it was a different feel- not like they were checking off a list of things they do and ask visitors, they were just friendly people, literally like talking to a neighbor, and that was nice. Good worship music, a diverse audience in ethnicity and age, and there was a genuine vibe that the people attending were really having a good time. No Sunday morning sour faces that I could see (and I grew up a back row Baptist LOL). They had all the things you look for in a church these days: solid website, started on time (10am), BACKGROUND CHECKS on children's workers (+1) and a challenging message that I'm still thinking about. They have small groups in 3 semesters through the year, an active youth group and a very friendly couple leading the church. Plenty of parking and the messages are also online if you want to check them out ahead of time (I did). Nice to know that there's a church like this right in my community!

The childcare program is awesome and they focus on teaching the children to know God. The sermons are filled with lessons to apply to your life and are based in the Bible. We read the Word of God and dive deep into the text.

A lot of the things that were good we had there they have stopped doing. we used to have gospel concerts in the chapel but now they spend the money on their large salaries and there are no more concerts. After going there so long and having a very large surgery when I got home I never heard from my grow group leader and he did not ever check on me or come and see me to see how I was.
