While the group who came in after me was fawned over, I nearly finished my coffee before my food came because I never got the water I requested, never offered a refill, my order did not have the up-charge things I asked for, which were thrown at me in a cup rather than incorporated into the meal, I was going to order more, but the server said for me to come up and pay, so I did. Super friendly and great food! This small place defines what a local breakfast place should be. Breakfast selection isn't big, but they had what we wanted and it was prepared just like at home. Don't go here! Seriously, it's really small and I want to make sure they always have a table available for me and my husband! We had breakfast here today and to say it's amazing is just not enough. The pancakes are so light and fluffy that they just melt in your mouth. They're also as big as your head! I also had two eggs over easy and bacon and he must cook the eggs in butter cuz they were just phenomenal! My husband had the biscuits and gravy, biscuits light and fluffy ,gravy absolutely wonderful. I had coffee which was really hot and really good. They have canned sodas and you pick your own. He only has a few tables inside and a picnic table outside. Wait for a table if you can, the food is really that good. The owner is such a nice guy and he had comes around to make sure everything is good and to see if you need anything else. This place really is a gem! We were skeptical when we pulled into the parking lot - tiny little wooden building. Walked inside and were the only patrons there. It was 1:30 so close to closing time but the owner greeted us warmly and we sat down to look at the menu. Really basic - a few sandwiches and breakfast. Got a Reuben and potato salad - both were delicious. Bill got the Philly Cheesesteak and said it was good. Self serve chips and drinks from a refrigerated standup cooler. That was our only complaint- no cups or ice so you had to drink from the bottle or can - a real downside in my opinion. I don't think offering styrofoam cups and having ice would be very costly and might be something they'd want to consider. All in all, a good meal! read more

Popped in after the sign on the door said no take out which we tried calling multiple times and they must've disconnected the phone for take out. After an early morning walk with the pup we stopped there. Went inside, asked to be seated outside at the two tables outside, after being denied that, I told her we have a service dog that's why we wanted to be outside, reminding her of the sign that said no take out. This is a great little gem in the Pigeon Forge area. My husband and I were staying at a cabin nearby and stopped by for coffee and breakfast on two separate occasions and what a treat! It's away from the main drag and has just a few tables but it is so good. Lenny, the owner, really takes care of you and everything is made to order. He really keeps calm under pressure too. I saw him do a carry out order for 11 people while the dining area was full and more people were waiting for tables and he handled it all with grace and a smile. Wonderful people - his server is great too! The food was really good, the biscuits and gravy were delicious and they have really good pancakes! For a small place they have quite a few items for breakfast and lunch. If we're ever in the area, we'll definitely stop by again! read more

While on vacation in Gatlinburg we drove to a little place called Pigeon Forge We ran across this little café that had five stars on yelp. Now we know why! It's a little place and amazing food! It's a tiny comfortable cafe with owner/chef and one helper running the cafe. They make sandwiches to order (I asked for some additions in my sandwich) and it was fresh like made at home. They offer breakfast items as well as lunch items. We had a nice chat with owner/chef and we felt right at home. He's famous for his black bear claw which is a mound of brownies & 2 types of cream - oh my, it was chocolate heaven, even for me who's not big into chocolate. The food was great, and so was the price. The waitress and the cook were extremely kind and friendly and service was prompt. My husband and I split blueberry pancakes (which were huge, thick, fluffy, and perfectly well done) and an order of eggs and bacon. Everything was delicious. My daughter got eggs, bacon, toast, and hashbrowns. She ate everything, which never happens when we go out to eat, an implication of good portion size on the cafe's behalf. The staff was great, they were on top of their orders and waiting on the diners. The place was very clean and nicely decorated.
