Looking for a brekky spot in Parramatta? Look no further than the Paper Plane Cafe. Fast friendly…read moreservice at this quaint cafe. The menu has a surprising amount of options and the back wall featured some of the top ordered items. We chose the Brunch bowl served with grilled haloumi, avocado, quinoa, grilled tomato, spinach, poached egg, pumpkin seeds topped with roasted sesame dressing, a delight that was delicious from the first bite to the last 5/5. We also ordered the French Toast, two French brioche toasts, vanilla ice cream, custard, berries, compote, crushed pistachios and maple syrup 4/5. A delicious breakfast after a nice walk around Parramatta Park!

I just had the best vegetarian breakfast of all time…read more Paper planes cafe is always busy hence the waiting list at the entrance however they're lots of seats around so it was a good sign were in for something special. We were greeted and provided menus. All the food coming out from the kitchen was well presented. Finally I order my vegetarian plate and I see beauty out right before my eyes. Every component had a purpose and even the rocket was dressed with vinegar to dance on my tongue of course. It was much better than the photo posted around 10 months before my visit today. Even then I was keen but now it's blown my mind- never underestimate good food. B-fast plate is $18 add on from bacon, sausage, hash browns are $2. This is now the to go brunch venue. When you try it it sure will be yours too. You can see me there ever lunch from now till forever.

On a voucher for breakfast but I would be happy to pay full price for these dishes. The restaurant…read moreis in the building on the corner of Church St and Victoria Rd which houses the Coles supermarket. Parking is metered at this end of Parramatta but you can park a little further away and walk. The restaurant faces a courtyard and is next to another similar restaurant; healthy competition? Our waitress was on the ball. Whilst we were four adults on a voucher, we had two children in tow. She was mindful that a baby cino might need more than one marshmallow..we ended up with four. She was clear on what was and what wasn't included in the voucher and double checked on how we wanted our eggs & toast. As for the food....very good and generous portions. We did add to the meal with iced coffee and other drinks. The coffee was very good. The restaurant has seating inside and outside. It is quite open and there is plenty of room to park a stroller. There is also a bar that serves beer and wine. As it was breakfast we gave that a miss this time.

I had a granola bowl with some delicious mango concoction and coconut yogurt with lots of fresh fruit and house made granola. The coffee was good as well. And I got to sit outside. It finally rained in Parramatta the last two days so the air was fresh. I highly recommend Basket Brothers for breakfast and coffee.

This place is such an insta-worthy spot and the dishes are so colorful that I had to add this to…read moreour list to hit up while we were in the city. The set up is absolutely adorable. It's really cute here and very bright. it reminded me of a really adorable cafe in the streets of europe. RED VELVET LATTE I didn't like this latte. It was way too sweet. The consistency was a nice thickness and I could taste the red velvet, but it was very rich. MORNING GLORY- mango, peach, and passionfruit I really liked this refreshing drink. It's definitely something to order on a warm day. The fruit flavors were very good and sweet. This could perhaps be a mimosa in the making. THE FRENCHY- vanilla mascarpone, maple, berries, caramelised banana, mochi rice cake This dish was very sweet. It was a mistake ordering this because everything on the plate was sweet. I did like the french toast. It had a good thick texture on the edges, but still soft and moist in the center. The fresh fruits helped to balance out some of the sweetness of the dish, but unfortunately there was not enough fruits. The maple was too sweet and the caramelised banana was also very rich with the mascarpone. Most likely we won't be ordering this in the future. ARIGATO WAFFLES- furikake chicken waffles, cheddar, crispy bacon, and miso hollandaise This was my favorite dish of the meal. It was absolutely perfect. I'm giving this place an extra star because of this dish. The waffles were perfect. It was crisp and so light. The chicken was also very crispy and moist. The miso hollandaise sauce really tied everything together and added a sweet and savory factor. The bacon was not as crisp as I would've liked. I would've preferred the fattier bacon for texture purposes and also because it's more flavorful. Overall, it was the perfect dish for my palate. I will come back solely for the arigato waffles. It was so good. Other than that, everything else was ehh~ Service was not great. It took the girls forever to get our orders. The decor is definitely something to come for.
