The mussel dish and the bread was great, and the pork chop portion was generous. however, all pasta dishes were salty, especially the lobster pasta was very very salty and there was barely any lobster in it. Service was good and we were not in a hurry. Ambiance was nice.

I met up with some friends for dinner, and it was also one of my friend's birthday. They have a parking lot and street parking available. Our server was so nice, when he found out it was a birthday gathering he gave us a round of prosecco to toast. Then gave us dessert to try. Food was delicious here and good portions too. He gave me recommendations for the food. Ambiance was pretty, bright, lot of greenery, and wine!! Definitely recommend this restaurant and also make a reservation.

I visited Liliana for the first time during Winter Restaurant Week. For my three-course meal, I picked the steamed mussels (one of my favorite foods), mushroom agnolotti, and lemon tart. We also added on octopus tater tots because we'd never seen anything like them, as well as the garlic bread. Service was friendly and attentive, and the dishes were staged out nicely. The food overall was flavorful and had some interesting twists, like numbing Szechuan peppercorns in the octopus and fragrant black garlic in the agnolotti. If you are out in the eastern suburbs, this is a wonderful place for a special meal! The only things I didn't love were the mussels (they were a little sandy unfortunately) and the garlic bread, which was oddly sweet.

We chose Liliana for our second anniversary. Overall good experience. We were seated promptly and the hostess was nice. Waitress was attentive. Smaller menu but that is what I would expect. Pasta was delicious! Fresh, al dente and very rich so no need to order too much if you are getting something with cream sauce. Ingredients were done right and seasoning was balanced. Loss of star is the acoustics of the dining room. It's too loud. I had to lean in to hear the waitress. She also said "yeah the noise is bad in here when we are busy". Owner(s) think about some acoustic panels or some way to tamp the the reverberation in the room. It definitely distracts from the experience where I felt like I was back in my high school cafeteria. We will be back at a quieter time.

Lobster Bucatini - 7/10 sauce was a little salty but noodles were perfect! I wish they put more lobster, we barely had any.

Cute restaurant with great service and good food! There are some unique flavors in some of their dishes so be prepared to test your pallett! Service Vibe Food

Incredible food in a beautiful setting. Fabulous options for food and drinks. The prosciutto bruschetta was my favorite of the night! Making a reservation online was easy. Though if you want to go on the weekend, make it at least a week in advance. Parking was also easy! Our server was friendly enough. But he clearly kept trying to upsell and was just going through the motions where it felt like he was trying to rush us out. We shared the olives and bruschetta. And I had the strozzapreti. A perfect meal going into colder weather. We also shared the tiramisu, which was tasty, but not as rich as I'd like it to be. The food was excellent all around, well-priced, and in good portions. Worth the drive from Minneapolis. Will be coming back for sure!

Visited 11/15/25. Really fun new spot in Woodbury. I don't live in that area but if I did I would definitely be getting a res from time to time. Best parts: -Service! Our server Becky was so kind and knowledgeable. Best service I've had in a while. -The Arbusto N/A drink-so flavorful and delightful! -The strozzapreti-if I come again I'm getting this! Had a taste of it from my friend and it was so creamy and good -The sweet potato app-loved the different flavors and textures and that sauce on the bottom was amazing! -Complimentary zeppoli. We were raving about these hours after. Such a nice gesture! Good parts: -Snow Maiden drink-while all the cocktails are slightly steeper price wise (especially the spritz options), this one felt better and was very flavorful. I will say I liked the spirit free arbusto better though. -The Creste di gallo pasta. Fun flavor and loved the pasta shape. Could've used slight more variety in texture (maybe by not grinding up the clams to be so small) -Rotolo-good; very very rich so prepare for that in advance -The garlic bread-very unique and creamy. Fun to try! Not your average garlic bread Other: -They definitely need more vegetarian pasta options. They really only had one on the menu and when we were trying to think of how some could be changed to accommodate as a veg dish it didn't work well -Chicken parm-a bit spicier than expected and I don't know if the pepperoni ragu was the right sauce to go with. The chicken part was great though!

Our first time to Liliana's and we were not disappointed. We were seated right away and greeted by our server who was super friendly. The menu was explained nicely and you can watch them make the pasta through a window area which was pretty neat. Food was very good and the noodles were great! Nice touch of complimentary donut bites at the end. We look forward to visiting again soon to try other options on the menu!

It's so nice to have a fancier, non-chain place in Woodbury. I had heard about this place opening up and decided to go for a recent special celebration. I love the "modern Italian" vibe here. There are many favorites you'll recognize, but with a little twist. We started with the garlic bread and arancini. I would seriously have been ok if that's all we ended up eating. The garlic bread was gooey on the inside and delicious. I actually sopped it up with some of the extra sauce from the arancini, which was also delicious. I tried the corn carbonara, which was so good. I think it might be off the menu again, since it seemed like a summer dish, but if it's on there, I would highly recommend. Honestly, it didn't look like there was anything bad on the menu. If you are in to cocktails, the cocktail menu is creative. Definitely ask for recommendations. I can't wait to come back!

Great Woodbury addition! My family is a big fan of the lovely Estelle in Saint Paul and have been excited to see the expansion as both carry the same owners. It's thrilling to see a small business expand as opposed to chain restaurants. What an exciting time to support local! I made a reservation online for my birthday with a total of 4 in my group for 6:15 pm. When we arrived, I had added +1 to my headcount and made sure to tell the staff right away as I understand this can cause a mix up on tables, etc. Needless to say, our table was not set and ready until almost 7:45pm. Luckily, we were not in a rush and were able to enjoy some cocktails at the bar prior to seating. When seated, we had already familiarized ourselves with the menu so were able to order relatively quickly. My table split the appetizers of sweet potatoes, greens salad and garlic bread. There was plenty for 5 of us to split. My husband adored the garlic bread. It was super rich! For my main entree I opted for the ravioli. I appreciated the white sauce (unique) and sweet corn. It was very good and rich just like the garlic bread appetizer. Our service was a little iffy (IE: reservation delay) and I 200% think this is due to new staff, new location, etc. For my latest experience, our server was slow with the drink refills which was a huge bummer for us as we went thirsty many parts of our evening. My hope is that this gets up to Estelle standards soon and I trust it will. Overall, I appreciate the ambiance with the dim lights, clean space, and open bar and kitchen concept so customers can see the handmade pasta being made. In addition, simple touches on decorating such as the table bud flower vases and body length mirror in the bathroom were selling points for me. We enjoyed the bartender who was super chatty and willing to help us out with drink recommendations. For the record, the spritz is super light and refreshing! I ordered two - delicious! My main recommendation to all is to try ordering a nice base (such as the salad) or something that will offset the garlic items. Every item was extremely heavy so Liliana is a spot I will come on special occasions when I can anticipate the hearty ingredients. Welcome to Woodbury, Liliana!!

I visited Liliana on a Monday night for dinner, and overall, we had a good experience. Upon walking in, we were promptly greeted by the host and ushered to our seats. The restaurant itself had plenty of seating, it was clean, and stylish. Pros: The prosciutto bruschetta was phenomenal! It had the perfect amount of sweet and salty. The noodles served with both pasta dishes were cooked and flavored to perfection! Cons: We made the reservation for the pasta bar and the chairs were very uncomfortable. Fortunately, the restaurant was not busy, so we were able to move to a dining room table. The chicken on the chicken parmesan was heavily breaded. I had to pick most of the breading off. Overall, I would revisit Liliana to try different menu items as they seem to change the menu frequently!

Amazing. I didn't find have the best impression walking in, the host was meh, not smiling and just sorta stared at us. Awkward. The restaurant is modern and open, relaxed upscale vibes, but not unique. The food tho. Omg. I was so happy. The sweet potato with whipped caesar, crispy kale, sun chips and everything else in that dish, was a perfect fall dish. It woke me up, and here I thought it was going to be boring. The pastas - rotolo and chitarra, I was so pleasantly surprised. The rotolo, little golden nuggets, were decadent, rich, and earthy. My favorite. The chitarra was beautiful and had so much flavor, and the octopus was crazy tender. The chili crunch in the chitarra had that numbing effect, I hated that, but I still appreciated the bites I had. My husband is the carrot cake fan, this had a miso caramel that piqued my interest, but it was just alright. Did its job. Our server was very friendly, but food came pretty slow once the place got packed. I can't wait to return to try more pasta!

Bartenders were very nice and quick, ensuring that everyone had something to drink. I thought it was nice how the bartenders were interacting with us about sports and other fun interests, which meant that they were attentive! It was also very nice how one of the bartenders noticed I was finished with my drink and replaced it with an iced water. Once we had our party members, we were seated and were given menus. One thing I noticed was that our server ignored me and asked the rest of the table (who happened to be men) what they would like to drink. It seemed that anytime I was trying to say I would like a water, I was immediately dismissed. This happened more than once, which made the experience feel a little awkward. Since we were waiting on one more party members (who unfortunately couldn't make it at the end) maybe our server was waiting for him to be seated before taking our order? But it took her a full 20-30minutes for her to take our food orders, while I was still without a drink. I had to ask for water while making my food order. Bartending service was very nice. But table service was a bit of a disappointment. Food-wise it was alright, but nothing out of the ordinary that would make me want to come back. The inside was pretty nice though, with casual dining spaces. Unfortunately I'm not sure if I'd come back anytime soon though.

I shared the loaded fries, onion rings, and boneless chicken wings served with ranch and habanero sauce. The chicken wings were my favorite. They had a tasty dry rub on it. The onion rings were crunch and flavorful. Personally, next time I'd pass ok the loaded fries. I do commend this establishment on their management. I did experience a problem during my meal. A server accidentally dropped a few sides of ranch while delivering the meals, and it landed down the back of my jacket. Enough has changed since my initial review to warrant an update here. For one thing, they closed…read more.. but then they reopened. There was also a pandemic that they survived, although moviegoing culture is definitely not the same. In 2026, the two big, unique features of Alamo Drafthouse are technically still true: (1) restaurant-quality food and drink are served to your seat, and (2) they threaten to kick you out without a refund if you talk or use your phone during the movie. The latter claim is dubious, since I've often observed talking and texting that went unpunished, even after I reported it once. People here are more respectful on average, though. The food situation has changed a bit recently. For one thing, it seems like the menu rotates a lot. They often have themed items based on the big movie of the time. You can expect the kind of food you'd find at a modern American pub, but with elevated prices, this being a movie theater after all. However, they recently started directing all orders to be transacted in their app. It is an imperfect system that I've tolerated. It can be a lot more difficult to communicate nuances with your order, and there doesn't seem to be a way to simply request some water. They want you to not use your phones during the movie, even though they clearly want you to order stuff using your phone. Between all that and the prices, I've found myself discouraged from ordering food. I have a long, long history with seeing movies in cinema complexes, and I am convinced that Auditorium #5 (aka "The Big Show") at this location has the best presentation around. If I am excited to see a movie and it is going to have fancy visuals and sound, I make sure to book a ticket in that specific auditorium. So that should tell you something. They have a real culture of movie fandom going on, with their curated slate of classic movies and pre-show vintage movie content. They also regularly show beloved kids movies. The employees are invariably helpful and enthusiastic, even if it is increasingly easy to avoid interacting with anyone. So I'm content to keep coming here for movies whether or not I'll order the expensive, so-so food.

They have nicely spaced seats that recline, full menu, discrete lighting, notepads and pens to write your order down and a server will grab your order once it's propped up then your food will come out shortly. Tonight we saw a long 3 hour movie which was perfect to get dinner and then later dessert and a snack during the show. (Food pics were in the dark so I did my best) My our order tonight that I'd point you towards in order: Chicken Tenders with dry rub, added ranch and honey mustard for dips. These are awesome.
