Church has been problematic for me, for years. On the…read morerecommendation of a friend, who knew that I didn't want to be yelled at, belittled, scared, made to feel like I didn't belong, and didn't want to sit among hypocrites, I gave this church a try. I adore the pastor, the congregation is warm and friendly and I enjoy my Sunday morning among the people of Calvary Baptist Church. I feel like I'm welcome here.

On a road trip, we recently passed this parish. It was something that just kind of stood out from…read morethe norm. The town is not big or flashy or metropolitan at all. But this unique building just caught my eye and drew me to it. It was quite interesting to see. The architecture was quite unusual for the small area in town. I could not go inside so I'm not sure what it look like inside but from what I saw through the windows it was quite nice. If I had the time I would definitely go back that way and just want to take a look see inside and see what's going on in America. After all isn't that part of the reason for road trips? What's a girl to do? If something calls your name you go to it and check it out.
