Quick access to shops, restaurants and public transportation. The lobby and rooms have so much character-- unlike anything I've seen before. For lunch we had a wonderful and very Swedish Kålpudding. It tasted just like mom's Kålpudding when we grew up in Sweden. The dinner with our friends was a truly joyful and elegant event. We had a starter, main course, and dessert, with Cava and Chardonnay to drink. Both the crawfish starter and the ravioli were very elegantly prepared and presented. We all had the halibut for main course and we all thought it was exquisite. We finished it off with the apple tartlet and espressos . The dining room is very elegant with elevated views of Trollhättan. On the way out we noticed the extensive whiskey collection so we have many reasons to come back.

We stayed in the circus wagon, and it was excellent. Nice and quiet, where your only neighbors are chickens and ducks. I definitely slept very well - a mix of fresh air, and removed from the city life. Inside the cafe, Annelie has her wonderful photography from Africa on display. Absolutely stunning pieces of art. Next time I'm in the GBG area, I will stay here again, and recommend it to everyone. Hands down, a rare gem that needs to be experienced.

The bedding and aroma of hand lotion, conditioner are from my favorite European macadamia flower. Absolutely heavenly. Zen out at any side sittings at the long elegant hall way is an amazing treat.
