I do not like leaving negative reviews but I am hoping Lily's will take this review and try to make the correct changes. I stopped in yesterday with my boyfriend around 7pm and the place was packed with a good amount of people patronizing the local bands. However, after the bands left, the crowd turned into a bunch of underage looking kids. We decided to leave but the main door we came through had been closed off. We then had to find our way out of the crowd of about 100+ kids that had gathered outside. Not only were there no bouncers in sight to control the crowd, but it felt like a huge fire hazard not having multiple clear exits with no obstruction. I hope they work on this matter so no one gets hurt.

Came here for a "Hip Hop Brunch" this place is pretty big - there was a seating area at the front door with a bar that looped around into another room (where the hip hop brunch was) and the brunch room led to another area with a bar (unused when I went) - also there is an upstairs for private events and outdoor seating - there were 12 in my group and I felt the service was on point - the waitress came over quick with menus and took drink orders. I ordered the chicken chipotle wrap which I thought was very good - the DJ they had was amazing - he had everyone up dancing and mingling to old school hip hop (90's primarily) there was even a Photo Booth - hoping they have another, I'll be back - did I mention it's a 3 minute walk from the LIRR

Thank you, GRACE, for such lovely service. You were kind, attentive, and ON POINT! All the food was delicious!!!! We had onion soup, potato soup, Bavarian pretzels, chicken fingers, fish and chips, burger, chicken Milanese, and French dip!! It was all delicious! The onion soup is the best in Long Island, Hands Down! I had a drink called brushing pink, and it was delicious I can't wait to get back! Great service, great food! It was me, my husband, and our three kids! Bring the kids. It's family-friendly!

This review is based on delivery. The food was absolutely delicious. The goat cheese in the salad was tremendous and they gave lots of dressing on the side. We also ordered two French dip sandwiches which were buy one get one. What a deal. And they came with crispy fries. Yum. He ordered the lobster bisque soup in which he was pleasantly surprised they had big large portion of lobster In it. He said it was amazing.

    Dry Ruben sans sauerkraut

We went to Lilly's on St. Patrick's Day this week. I wish I just stuck with the Guinness pints. I regret that we ordered Ruben sandwiches. It was disgusting. For $25 I got a Ruben that was dry and didn't include sauerkraut. The sandwich had barely any corned beef on it. If I were Lilly's I would have been embarrassed to serve such garbage. A dry burnt Ruben. How is that even possible ? And the rye bread was stale!!!!!

One of the top 3 French onion soups I ever had, and awesome chicken & waffle sliders with a great dipping sauce. Friendly staff, nice restaurant

I like a lot hanging out. Last night I visited this magnificent place which friends recommended to me. Enjoyed my experience there with a fine meal and a well-trained crew and servers. I added this restaurant in our phone list and i will certainly visit again soon. I deeply recommend. Well priced drinks and friendly staff are the first things you'll notice in what's sure to become an interesting freaking evening. The later it gets the more exciting this place becomes. Really solid neighborhood pub. Drinks were good, bartenders personable, prices fair. Luckily they are close to my house and I'm so glad i finally got the chance to check it out. I will definitely be back. Great bar, exceptional service and fair pricing...

My friend and I heard about this place on Instagram when a Rainbow Cookie Martini was posted. We knew we had to visit and try it! When we entered, it took some time to get noticed to be seated. We were standing for at least 5 minutes until one of the bartenders came and brought us to our table. To start, we of course got the martini. It was very good! Definitely tasted like a rainbow cookie. To eat, we both got pizza. I got the drunken vodka pizza. It had vodka cream sauce, mozzarella, and parmesan. It was very good. My friend got the all American pizza. It had chicken, bacon and a ranch drizzle. It was very good as well. Service at the table was very good. Our waitress continued to check on us to see if we were okay. Definitely makes up for the wait to be noticed and seated. Prices are average. Each pizza was around $15.

The food was great and I love how the ambiance is. There was no live music when I went. Which was a Thursday. In a way I was surprised. I went with my neighbors and we had great service at first. We sat at the bar, which was nice since it wasn't busy. Then the guy we had either went on break or it was the end of his shift, and the bar back that we had wasn't that helpful. He would walk by and not even ask how we are doing and whatnot. He would go to two girls at the end of the bar and talk to them for a bit. The food was great though. I really enjoyed it.

The Brixton is a beautiful restaurant with very relaxed and casual vibes. The word around town is that their drinks are awesome. What about their food, though? They originally would not seat us in the middle of the afternoon because most of the empty tables were reserved. We had to request to sit outside, which was empty, before they decided to serve us. Odd that they did not even offer that to us. The General Tso' Cauliflower was the only great thing served to us. It is incredibly crispy and flavorful. You almost forgot that you were eating a piece of vegetable at times. The Short Rib Brisket Sesame burger was shocking. $18 for two White Castles-sized sliders. It was easily consumed, and I was left much to be desired. This is most definitely an appetizer item, not an entree. The Chicken Waffle was good. Nicely deep-fried and packs a lot of flavor. The waffle looked dubious. If I had to guess, it might not be mad fresh to order. Essentially, it's 3 drumsticks/wings over a possibly frozen Eggo waffle. I would recommend a second dish if you are looking to get full. The Steak frites and Eggs Benedict were the final dishes served. It is hard to mess these dishes up, but the ribeye was nicely seasoned and cut up. The dishes were nicely displayed. Overall, this is just an OK experience. When the deep-fried cauliflower appetizer is the most memorable dish here, it is quite alarming. Portion sizes are on the small end, and none of the flavors for the entrees really stuck out. Perhaps I will come here strictly for the drinks next time.

The menu is eclectic: everything from Fried Goat Cheese to Spicy Stuffed Rigatoni to Parm Truffle Fries. I ordered the Au Poivre Skewers and Taste of Long Island Oysters as appetizers. For a cocktail, I had an Old Fashioned made with Woodford Reserve. For dessert, I had the Chocolate Dubai Martini. The Au Poivre Sauce was on par with any steakhouse in NYC, the oysters tasted fresh caught, the Old Fashioned was magnificent with Bourbon Cherries, and the Dubai Martini (a dessert, not a cocktail) was rich and chocolatey. The food and drink are a little pricey for what you get, but that is the story with most restaurants these days. The crowd was a little noisy. It was hard to hear what the bartender was saying to sometimes, but that is just me, Gail B., usually having difficulty tuning out the restaurant/bar crowd.

The service has always been top notch whether your sitting barside or at one of their tables inside the restaurant or heated/open patio side. Whether you opt for a tasty liquor cocktail or a draft/bottled beer you won't be disappointed. I ended up not liking my drink and she was so accommodating swapping my drink for one she recommended that I thoroughly enjoyed. We got the shepherd's pie fries to start and I have been dreaming of them since. First off the fries are some of the best I've ever had. They're clearly homemade and were just perfect and the pie filling on top took it to the next level. For entrees my husband got the fish and chips. The fish was fresh and crispy and paired perfectly with the amazing curry sauce. He was obsessed. I got the burger with corned beef on top and onion rings and paired it with their ketchup aioli and I loved it. Portions were large and fairly priced in my opinion for quality and quantity. For dessert we tried their new milk and cookies cake and it was very enjoyable. Not too sweet and perfectly moist. I can't say enough great things about this place and look forward to our next visit with the whole family since there really is something for everyone on the menu.
