Interesting place and they have a number of kinks to work out. Besides the idea of the rooftop, there is really nothing special here. The level on traffic noise outside makes it difficult to hold a conversation if you are dining outside. We arrived around 4:15 to meet friends for a drink and possibly some appetizers. We were told we could sit at the bar, not very conducive to conversing between 4 people. Then they said we could sit at one of the tables surrounding the bar but we had to go to the bar to order drinks and we would be asked to leave at 5pm when the dinner hours begin. Not very welcoming at all. It was also suggested by the bartender and the sign at the hostess stand to wait for the host. We waited, we heard the phone ring of the hook, we waited and no one ever showed up. We finally grabbed a table, went up to the bar, ordered drinks, brought our own drinks to our table and then of course were expected to leave a tip, which we did, but seriously is this how you treat guests? There were no less than 6 staff standing around in the dining area ignoring guests arriving and the confusion of where to sit and how to get a glass of wine. There are plenty of choices in the area for food and drink, get your act together and step up your game. We had guests from out of town and this was no way to impress them. We had our drinks and left and were welcomed with open arms at Keewaydins on Fifth for dinner, another new establishment that really knows the meaning of hospitality. read more

An embarrassing surprise to me when we were treated by our houseguests for dinner. We arrived on Feb. 14 and sat down at our table outside. The banquette is so low that the ladies had to sit in the chairs. The table was rocking and broken and could not be fixed after 3 servers came over to try to fix it! There were special Valentine's day menus on the table and when we asked our superb waitress, Isabella, if this was all that was available, she said yes. A choice of salad from two options, a choice of Branzino or Rib Eye steak, and a choice of lemon leche cake or ganache covered strawberry. And when I asked the price for this menu, she said $99 per person! I wanted to leave or have drinks and leave but my guests insisted on staying. The drinks were good, and came fairly quickly. We had a limon cadere, a titos on the rocks for $19, an iced tea and a glass of wine. We ordered our dinners and we all ordered the mediterranean salad. It was a sliced tomato which was ice cold and mushy, a half ball of burrata which was not creamy in the center and three dollops of avocado puree with a skinny slice of endive stuck in each dimed sized dollop. The branzino was good, the steak was tough. The desserts were just OK. What a disappointment! If a restaurant has a special evening with a prix fix meal, I have always seen it advertised and not sprung upon the diners. No one in our section knew about the Valentine's meal. No one knew that the menu was going to be limited and no one else knew that the price of the dinner was $99 per person! So after my guests spent $600, I will say that I will not return to eat dinner or a meal. The bar scene seemed good and the service was excellent. Don't go for dinner! read more

We have been wanting to try Limon for months, and finally made it there today for apps and wine. The inside bar was quiet but it was a beautiful day and we wanted to sit outside so we waited for the hostess. We only waited about 5 minutes but the confusion between the hostess and who we thought was the GM was almost comical. We were finally shown to our table where we sat for close to 20 minutes before anyone acknowledged us - despite the fact that the same server checked on the tables on either side of us several times. The GM finally came to our table and introduced herself as the "Assistant Director" (of something) and said she'd be taking care of us. We ordered 2 glasses of wine, 3 small plates to share, and water. It was probably another 10 minutes before we got water and then another 10 before we got wine. Shortly thereafter we got ONE of the appetizers. The Assistant Director put the plate in the center of the table and seemed pleased with herself. I asked if we could get individual plates. We decided to go ahead and eat off the same plate while the food was hot. The small plates came after we were finished with it. When the other two appetizers were delivered, only one was correct. The Director seemed stumped but took the plate away to figure things out. Another person finally brought the right one, but there was no sauce. When we asked about the sauce, the response was, "I don't know... this is what the chef gave me." By this time we were an hour into the "experience." The water was empty and the wine was empty, but no one seemed to care about either. As people who have roots in hospitality, we understand being understaffed and getting slammed. We also understand working out the wrinkles in a new place. As locals who live here all year (literally we live 13 minutes away), we aren't likely to return. It's been months since Limon opened and this place is the antithesis of hospitality. Not because of the long wait or the incorrect food or even that no one returned to see if we needed another drink, but because of their terrible attitude. Not a single employee we encountered seemed to know the meaning of the word hospitality - and worse yet... no one seemed to care. Given there are no responses to the reviews here, it isn't likely that the management cares either. To anyone considering this place, there are so many other amazing restaurants and bars in Naples that will make you feel welcome, don't waste your time and money on this one. read more

A friend and I went for a late afternoon cocktail. The amount of liquid in the drink was minuscule. The ice cubs were very large, and because of that after 4 sips the margarita was gone. The flavor was good, but not the quality for $15. My friend had a Cosmo with Cointreau which was $19 and if the glass held 3oz that's exaggerating...again no alcohol to taste. The service was fair because of the lack of liquor in the drinks. The decor was beautiful as well as the view, but was not over impressed!! read more

Good food but HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! the hostess sat us at an outside table at 7:45. we didn't get a server till 8:10. Ordered appetizers and drinks through the hostess because our server was "too busy" even though the restaurant was not even that busy. Waited over 15-20 minutes for our drinks to come, after we got our appetizer. We had to ask 3 different people 4 times for silverware as the food was sitting on the table getting cold. We we're looking forward to dining here but im so beyond disappointed. If I'm paying a lot of money to eat somewhere as nice as this I expect to at least get some decent service instead of hardly nothing at all. read more

We have been here 3-4 times now . The food is so good regardless of what you order .. but let me tell you something . If you don't order the Montecarlo hamburger .. you are missing out . Has prosciutto on it instead of bacon and Gouda cheese . Omg , I kid you not that this truly is the best burger I've ever had in my 50 years of living folks . So good that I order it every single time . You can get " skinny fries " with it or potato wedges . Get the potato wedges . So freaking good . I could eat this every day and never get tired of it . I took a party of 22 for dinner on the 3rd floor rooftop restaurant. The largest party the Limon Rooftop Bar has handled to date. Cocktails on the deck around the firepit. Then great sunset views! For dinner they sat our large party on the covered part of the patio with plenty of heat lamps. Burgers were great and the servers did a good job for such a large thirsty party! Thanks to Douglas, the Director of Food and Beverage for handling the logistics of our group. We will be back soon. read more

Service was ok. Waitress was nice but didn't really go over an above. But she was nice. The place is nowhere as nice as it's pictures, but it was not horrible. Better lighting would do wonders. Food was BAD. All of it. I ordered a Greek salad with chicken. This basically was like a mixed leafy green salad with some feta cheese. The chicken was extremely rubbery. I could not eat the chicken. I don't even know how you can make chicken this bad, even if you tried. Also got the olives and almonds appetizer, they came literally mixed in a deep little bowl with a bunch of brine still in there. Then we had the breaded cauliflower, which had no taste really at all and was probably undercooked. Not only was the food bad, but also the plate presentation was unappetizing. I also ordered an espresso martini. Normally when I get these, I like to substitute Bailey's for Kahlúa and sub tequila for vodka. If you ever order these types of drinks, this substitution is not uncommon. But they literally charged me the normal price for the drink, and then an extra $5 dollars to substitute Baileys for the Kahlúa and another $5 dollars or so to substitute tequila for Vodka LOL. I've never seen these types of charges when I have ordered this drink anywhere for the last five years.... at the end of the day it's still a mixed drink, and Bailey's should not be a $5 dollar upgrade. There are so many good places to spend your money at for dinner in Naples, do not go to this place, there is nothing redeeming at all. read more

There were different stations set up throughout the restaurant and there was something for everyone. Love the ambience of the rooftop restaurant. The food was delicious, although the cheesecake was not cheesecake as described but rather a sort of pound cake. Went here for lunch and was one of only 2 patty's there. Despite this the service was at best lack luster. Food took 35 minutes to receive the first entree and it was an additional 25 before the last came out. Considering the only meal of the five we ordered that was enjoyed was the Caesar salad I can wholeheartedly say lunch here should be avoided at all costs. Finally the atmosphere inside is nice but the rooftop element is not great the view is nothing special especially if your a Naples native like ourselves. Overall a very expensive poor experience. read more
