Absurdly poor service. I was diagnosed with severe sleep apnea and prescribed a CPAP device. The doctor sent the order to Lincare (Modesto) a month ago. I have called each week for four weeks and get told some other excuse why the order has not been filled: "we don't have the parts," "we process in the order received," "we just received the order," "we are waiting for authorization." They are either understaffed or operating on threadbare inventory. What will the excuse be next week? Reading other reviews, it appears I could be waiting for months... read more

Just go somewhere else for your durable medical needs. I have called weekly about my cpap machine. I've been told many different stories. First they said they requested the auth from my insurance then I was told they didn't have all the info to request the auth from my insurance. When I asked what else do they need to submit the request for authorization I was told they process the orders as they come in. I called my insurance company and they had no request on file from them at all. I called yesterday and spoke with a supervisor by the name of Jeremy and he promised to look into it and get back to me today. I haven't heard back yet. Im going to go get my orders from my Dr office and try doing this myself. People who decide to work in patient care of any kind might actually want to care. There are many companies out there that will take your needs seriously. This isn't one of those places. Save yourself wasted time. Update Jeremy called me back and they requested my authorization yesterday at 5pm. We will see. Fingers crossed. 5/20 Update. My authorization came back the next day. Jeremy did what he said he was going to do and I had my appointment today to get my cpap. He was knowledgeable and helpful. He answered all my question. Worst experience so I am disabled and no car what they did Modesto loc? I had a order for today and they arrived at 2140 ish and they only gave me 4 new med tanks and not the 6 little ones I use going to diaysis I told them to come after 130 and the driver knew about my small tanks are in my garage rep was rude didn't care and transferred me to another number no help or sympathy and manager same way didn't care they said I can drive but what disabled you don't get I don't drive and I have no one to go get them from Modesto. Looks like I'm leaving them my o2 stats drops to 74 in dangerous off heart attack stroke and passing out and which I did and barley got discharged today leaving to another company they have no sympathy and rude to there customers they also stated well you should know Mondays is only day they deliver to my city read more

Helpful guy explained to me everything I needed to know about my cpap machine and took his time answering all my questions.

Bad customer service take forever to get a real person on hold waiting for 20 minutes then get a rep who is not able to answer question why my insurance is still being billed when equipment has been returned after 32 minutes on the line I am disconnected, as rep was supposed to be transferring me to someone who could help with this issue. Redialed number and have been waiting another 20 minutes and continuing on hold. Check your insurance billing if you have returned equipment. Have contacted my insurance and they are investigating, but also cannot get thru on their phone lines. I do not recall person name that picked up the equipment just that they were an Lincare employee. read more

They have very poor care for their clients. Most of their patients are struggling with health and they lack the empathy to make them a priority. I have been dealing with this company for over a month on behalf of my 92 year old grandmother. So far I would not recommend this business. read more

It is my hope that no one that works here has to depend on another company for their medical care. I've been diminished and dismissed for the past month and bounced between this awful company and my sleep study center. I was finally contacted by their salesperson and told that because my insurance changed and it was lapsing in a month that they couldn't give me a medically necessary machine to aid in my BREATHING at night. Unfortunately all I can do as a consumer and a customer is leave a nasty Yelp review and hopefully steer hopeful customers away from your business. Do not walk from Lincare RUN. read more

This company is HORRENDOUS. Do not do business with them. I tried for several months (as in months and months and months) to return a device because I no longer wanted and needed it. I was ignored but continued to be charged despite multiple phone calls and a BBB complaint where they gave a total lame answer. I had to pay the bill to avoid collections and guess what? They're still ignoring my request for reimbursement. read more

I have been dealing with Lincare as of Oct. 3rd when I received my results for my sleep study, that was done on Sept. 3rd. My physician sent my prescription, letter and any requested documentation and I contacted Lincare on Oct. 10th in which they informed me the process could take 3 to 4 weeks. We are in December, 2 months later, and I am still debating/arguing with Lincare about the CPAP machine since is medically necessary, it does not need to have a pre-authorization from my insurance. As I still wait and argue with Lincare and call my insurance again as they explain the same thing to me, no authorization is needed, the young lady on the phone stated it was their policy until they receive a response from the insurance they could not do anything else. I asked her, "to speed this along, can you 3-way call with my insurance and they can explain it to you over the phone?" That was also against their policy apparently. I contacted my insurance again and they have not received a phone call nor a fax from Lincare. Such a waste of time being patient and a good customer and continue to receive the worst service I have experienced in my life! Maybe corporate will read this and do something about it. read more
