Absolutely horrible and do not use them if it can be avoided. They never return phone calls. Called the 800 number and they finally connected me to someone after weeks of trying to talk to somebody. Do not be fooled... Health Care Solutions (HCS) is still LINCARE {cue the "Empire March" from Star Wars} In the past, we have been overbilled, wrongly charged, and negligently left uninformed of changes to our account status resulting in astronomical "out of network" charges due to their not informing my insurance company of the title changeover from Lincare to Health Care Solutions. Customer service merely "shrugged". Had to manually track down someone in Rochester, MI who said she'd look into it. Then, no response, no call back. Lincare customer service is probably the worst I have ever experienced...incompetent, unresponsive, inaccurate--and HCS is part of Lincare. Maybe they went for a new moniker because the Lincare name is associated with a few negative events: Lincare has for YEARS received extremely poor customer reviews nationwide, has had a major data breach in 2021, and was successfully sued by the Federal Government for Medicare fraud (they paid $29 million). And I'm here to say, their chaos is still in place... Now with "Health Care Solutions" as a new label. Just a received an invoice from 10 months ago...just arriving now. That's it, I'M DONE, LINCARE. update: Found a new supplier for cpap supplies and am very happy with their customer service, website, billing procedures, accuracy, and get this.... there are actual humans to interact with....on the phone! Absolutely no customer service. I have left multiple messages over the course of several weeks and have never received a response. This is especially concerning given that this company provides medical and potentially life-saving equipment. Lack of communication at this level is unacceptable. If I could give Lincare a minus five stars, I would absolutely do that! Lincare Canton/Plymouth has the worst customer service of any business, let alone a health care business, I've ever worked with, and in my 60+ years, I've worked with quite a few. The receptionists are fine, once they answer the phone that's been ringing off the hook for ten business days in a row. The only way I was able to talk with a receptionist in the past month was because I called customer services, and they were able to put me in touch with the office. The manager of this place is a rude, ill-mannered joke of a man. I'm sure he feels like a big shot behind the phone. I'm just about ready to go to the Plymouth office, walk in and confront him face to face. I bet 10-1 he'd shrivel like a grape in the sun! My insurance company is checking into the business practices of Lincare as I write this. The Better Business Bureau (Lincare is NOT BBB Accredited) has flagged Lincare with 1,176 reports against them as far as customer service goes. Billing practices are even more. If you have a complaint against Lincare of any kind, although they aren't an accredited business, I suggest filing a complaint with the BBB. read more

I can't even begin to tell you how horrible the customer service is for this company! We have left message after message with Lincare to have a new regulator brought to my Mother so she could have portable oxygen when traveling to her doctor's appointments. Each time, her doctor had to provide us with a portable tank to get my Mom back home with the ability to breathe. We called and left messages and never received a phone call back from anyone. When Lincare charged us for the portable oxygen, do you think we could get that charge credited back? No. Again we called repeatedly leaving messages that went nowhere with no resolution. Borderline incompetent. Not completely incompetent, but very close. I have now repeated the same pattern three times. -my prescription for my CPAP runs out -my doctor sends the new one -Lincare loses it And when I call them, the customer service rep say the same thing each time: "The local office will look into it." But they never do. The only way the situation is resolved is by calling my cardiologist and getting them to light a fire under Lincare's butts. They do manage to get me my supplies, so they aren't completely incompetent. But they are close. Get another supplier if you can. read more

If i could give Lincare a rating of a 0 or a half a star i would. There organizational skills are non existant, same with customer service. Maybe it's different for other locations or other needs. Now if you try to obtain CPAP supplies or a new machine plan on the need to costantly follow up and expect to be disappointed. i see this as a Big management issue that is not in control. read more

I have a wound vacuum and have not received my supplies; it has been 4 days. So, because of this, I'll be forced to do a wet to dry dressing which will only encourage continued infection. I am beyond angry at the lack of follow through from Lincare. read more

This has to be one of the most poorly run companies in America. For 2 and a half months every time i call them no one answers or they take my information and say they will call me back. I haven't received a single phone call from them. If you call the main customer service number they tell you they can't help you and that you need to contact the local office. No one seems to care. Customer Service -Deplorable My mother is on 6 liters oxygen 24/7. We had a technician come out to the house to bring another machine. My father asked a few general questions with regards to a manual for the replacement machine. And he wondered what's a typical life expectancy on these machine's? Because ours alarmed a couple times & its unsettling because we're relatively new to this oxygen life. The technician responds says we do not have manuals just call the company. And as for the life expectancy question he says I don't expect much from these machine's. My dad says well this is about life /death here. Technician says you have oxygen tanks don't you. Dad responds yes..but I interject telling this cocky technician that those tanks we have won't last long with my mother using 6 liters. Technician says do you know how to dial 911? Hospital near by? Conversation ends with the technician saying well then don't tell me this is a life or death situation. At which time I asked him to leave our home! I called the company IMMEDIATELY after the technician left and told them how disgusting disrespectful their tech was to not only myself but my father. Told them I DO NOT WANT ERIC S. Orders supposed to take 5 days. For the second time they lost our order. 10 days and counting. Last time Barb wound up in the hospital ED. This time they lied and said they'd overnight it. When it didn't arrive overnight we called and were told they don't do that. This is very poor company service for someone who supplies life line breathing supplies. read more
