I believe this building was the one which contained a former prison and in its chapel were separated seats for prisoners, so they could not talk or contact one another while listening to services. Eerie. read more

Haven't been to this library for a while and its changed for the good quite considerably…read more New sitting and quiet areas, fast check in and out machines, a load more public Internet terminals and the average age of the staff appears to have gone down from 90 to mid 30's . For those of you fed up shooping in lincoln and need some quiet time a great place to stop in. Its amazing what you will pick up anf read.
